Something about him though made me know he was the right choice, you also can't ignore the fact he had these incredible reviews that blew the water out the other lawyers too. So I decided to call him up. He picked up the phone very quickly and explained my case to him. I told him that it needed to be dismissed or else I wouldn't be eligible to get hired. John Carney assured me that he and his team would handle it. Time goes by and he tells me that he found evidence to convince the DA that I was innocent and all of my charges were completely dismissed. His fees were extremely reasonable and much less than the other lawyers I called. Through out the months I have worked with Mr. Carney and his legal team, I found them to be highly responsive, honest and very knowledgeable. Every time I called Mr. Carney he personally answered the phone which is unheard of with lawyers. I will recommend Mr. Carney to all my friends and family. He did not file the case in the correct jurisdiction . I am a client that gave him the address and zip code along with the copy of the lease and the name of the tenant. Micheal got paid for his services and I even paid him to hire the sheriff to evict the tenant. The sheriff department too, took the fees and never said that the property is not in their jurisdiction . When I asked the sheriff to come to the property and Evict the tenant, only then they told me that the property was not in their jurisdiction, and they can not do any think about it . The case has to be filed allover again. Micheal was supposed to file the case in Kenmore and not in Buffalo. or vise versa. Micheal refused to take responsibility for his work and he is redoing the work the proper way. He wasted 3 month of my time and his fees and the sheriff fees for this. Now I have to start all over again. His lack of knowledge and experience is going to cost me another three months of lost rent and another attorney and the sheriff department fees all over again . Hiring Micheal dwan was a big mistake. He doesn't know his job.
