This acai bowl was to die for. I absolutely loved it. It did not have strong feelings about the avocado toast. It tasted like they bought guacamole packets from Costco and then spread it over the toast. The balsamic vinegar and feta were fine but there's just something about that guacamole that I couldn't hang with. The service was great and the ambiance was great. First time visiting I ordered the avocado toast and you can put your own toppings. I chose balsamic, mozzarella, pepper,oregano, micro greens on wheat toast. It was ok really had no flavor. A little while ago We were up in the Murfreesboro area visiting my sister, and I was really excited to visit this Acai bowl place because we have one in Franklin that has some of the best bowls I've ever had. I have to say I was underwhelmed, I got the OG Acai, the bowl was pretty good but tasted of apple juice. I know in the ingredients listed that apple juice was one of them, but I didn't think that it would taste as strongly as it did of it. I did end up finishing the bowl in the end. My sister and mom each got the Aloha bowl and the Pina Colada bowl. My mom couldn't finish hers, but both me and my mom have had Acai bowls that are extremely good, so I suppose we had high standards. plus she was a bit hesitant on her order...My sister on the other hand loved hers and finished it, so I guess it's a hit or Miss on some of the flavors. The shop was really cute both inside and out, and even had outdoor seating. They have cute decorations all around the building and it's very trendy looking and great for pictures. There's a big chalk board that has the menu written on it and they offer a variety of drinks and food options, not as many as you would think though. the portion sizes were up to par though. The service was very good. The staff was kind and patient as they waited for us to pick from their menu. Overall I give them 4 stars for the cute little place they have and kind supporting cast. The food choices we picked weren't too bad but didn't compare to other Acai bowls I've had. One of my favorite small businesses on the square! My best friend even gets me gift cards for holidays now so that I can treat myself on Fridays. I've had almost everything on their menu but the OG Açaí bowl is my go-to. It's sweet and filling and colorful and healthy and delicious. 5 stars because the people are great and I like what they are doing offering healthy food surrounded by a sea of garbage (fast food, etc). If management reads this, please consider a better quality bread for your toasts. The white wonderbread and brown store bought stuff is low quality. Work with a local bakery to use their sourdough and multigrain. read more

I typically enjoy Boro bowls but upon entering the building there was no greeting. Then as we proceed to order, I asked if they would be able to create a kid's açaí bowl with the base only. Instead of advising that they couldn't accommodate this in the kid's size, they simply said "no, we don't do this". The cashier could have advised that they could do this in the standard size without the toppings. This would have been an acceptable solution. Please improve the customer service aspect of your business. Thanks! read more

My biggest regret is that it took me 2 years of living in Murfreesboro to finally try Boro Bowls! I. AM. OBSESSED. I have tried acai bowls from many different places, and this is the BEST I have ever had. The OG Bowl is my absolute favorite, but every single type of bowl is stellar. I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the menu. I ordered the bombom bowl which came with: - acai blend - granola - cacao powder - banana - strawberry - cacao nibs - almonds - honey It was super busy but my food didn't take long which was nice! The bowl itself was solid, I wish there had been less granola and more fruit but that's just personal preference. I also ordered a GF muffin which was ok, kind of dry which is sometimes to be expected with GF baked goods. Overall this definitely did the trick and I was thankful to have found it on such a hot day in Franklin.

Even water is a self serve dispenser! It's a great place, different concept in food service. It wants fast food as far service but set up to be table service. After our food arrived we were directed to the silverware and napkins. No one checks on food quality or needs after you are served your food!
