For a time I took my VW to Gordie's. After having some bad experiences there I started going here…read more I've since gotten rid of the VW, but have continued taking all my cars to Ace for oil changes and everything else. Their pricing is reasonable, the staff are helpful, professional, and nice. They also work on all makes/models. They fixed the VW many times, and now have done jobs on my Prius (oil changes, new coolant flow control valve) and my Ford (oil changes, new intake manifold) The only downside I can think of is that they can get very busy (probably because they're so good), So sometimes they have to schedule you a week out or more. They are always willing to explain more about any job/issue and will take you out and show you what they fixed if you ask. The charges are reasonable and you can always get an estimate before any work is done. I recommend Ace to anyone needing automotive work.

At the shop they replaced to battery, not the alternator. 2 weeks later the car is on the side of the road with the same symptoms. Had to tow it again and have the alternator replaced this time at a different service station. I question the knowledge of the mechanics here. They didn't fix the problem.

This company attempted a predatory tow and then extorted $200 from or family just to drop our…read moreU-Haul, a blatant case of roadside blackmail. We had parked for less than 20 minutes to grab food, and the tow truck driver admitted he felt the hood of the vehicle and knew it was still warm. He was fully aware we had just stepped away and were nearby.... No "no parking" signs anywhere easily visible (especially at night). My husband had traveled all from Washington State to pick up our daughter from college, and this is the kind of disgusting, exploitative behavior they encountered. Instead of allowing them to retrieve the U-Haul, the tow operator demanded $200 on the spot or threatened to take it to the yard, which would've cost over $1,000 and left them stranded overnight. They were coerced into paying to avoid even more damage and delay. What's worse, this same company threatened the young employees of the burger establishment, telling them they couldn't move their own cars because their license plates had already been recorded. Those employees ended up having their vehicles towed after being intimidated by the same tactics by this deplorable company. It's an absolutely appalling abuse of power. The photo of the business owner shows him standing proudly with a child, I truly hope he treats his own family better than he treats complete strangers. What this company is doing isn't just unethical, it's predatory, manipulative, and disgraceful. Stay far away from this business. They operate without integrity and prey on people who are just trying to go about their evening.
