Just saw a video of an employee at Midland Dental throwing a full-on meltdown over mayonnaise (yes,…read moremayonnaise), and the way she treated the other staff was disgusting. Screaming, belittling, acting superior -- like she was running a boot camp, not a dental office. If Midland Dental thinks this is acceptable behavior from their team, it makes you wonder what else they sweep under the rug. Honestly, if this is what's happening in front of a camera, I don't want to imagine what happens when no one's recording. Youu need new management, new training, and a whole new standard of professionalism. Avoid unless you like your checkups with a side of chaos.

Here we are 2 1/2 years later still dealing with the worst orthodontic practice in Midland. Front desk staff has been rude on numerous occasions. Especially rude to my kid when he started driving himself to appointments. My kid has been in braces for 3 1/2 years with zero communication as to why. Of course according to them it is all my son's fault - he doesn't do what he is told to do...yet at meals he is constantly removing his bands and putting new ones in after the meal. Maybe it's poor orthodontic work that is the issue? All I know enough is enough. After advice from our dentist and his hygienist his braces are coming off. Guess we will have to continue to tolerate the crappy circumstances at Reznik to get through the retainer- but any other orthodontic work will be done by Dr. Phillips - the best orthodontist in Midland.

Paid complete $6k total upfront for braces for my son in 2020. A bracket recently came unglued from…read moreone of his teeth and was sliding back and forth on the wire, cutting his lip. We spent 2 days over the weekend putting wax on it. The wax did not last long due to the movement and rotation around the wire with the bracket cutting his lip. I called the office early Monday morning to see if they could get him in for a quick appt to re-glue the bracket. The receptionist said they could not see him for 2 weeks. She also told me to take the bracket off myself or remove the wire and slide the bracket off. Excuse me, isn't that part of what I paid this office for?! I asked if they were really that busy that they could not fit in an emergency appt. She was incredibly rude and said it would take at least an hour to fix and they were completely booked. I find it hard to believe that to glue a bracket on would take an hour as our normal appts are less than 30 mins. This is the second emergency issue that my son has had. The first time a wire coming out of a bracket and poking out. The first time I let it slide that they could not immediately get him in. However, a second time is inexcusable. It is irresponsible that a provider would not leave some room in their schedule for emergency issues and not make their patients suffer for over 2 weeks waiting for an appt. An office unwilling to try to accommodate emergency issues is concerning that they do not have the patient's best interest at heart. As a parent looking to have another child in braces soon, I will more than likely take my business elsewhere where patient care is top priority.

Be warned. This…read moreoffice employs a woman by the name of "Andromeda." Upon my first interaction with this employee, I had called the office upon my Dental plan listing the referenced number to schedule appointments. Andromeda had answered and claimed the office was not accepting patients. I found this peculiar and took to their website to schedule online instead. The website asks for a plan, ID number and will let you select the nearest appointment. It appeared the office clerk had lied to not only myself but my mother when she had called to check additionally. Eventually the day before, 4/12 Andromeda had texted that the information provided was "insufficient" and when attempting to call in to correct the issue, Andromeda made every attempt to refuse the original scheduled appointment by claiming it would "take some time to verify you" instead of standard transactional practices you would expect any dentistry to undergo. Andromeda further antagonized the situation further by over-speaking, interrupting and made every attempt to refuse the information she somehow did not have. She was eventually asked to stop behaving inappropriately to which shortly thereafter she again continued with her inappropriate behavior before hanging up the phone. Upon calling back she was promptly addressed as inappropriate and a request for her manager was made. She yet again over-spoke interrupted & complained but this time it was me who hung up & promptly dialed the Odessa office Andromeda attempted to defer to. The woman at the Odessa office was wonderful and helpful and displayed a proper & considerate demeanor. She was even able to clear up that a "Linda Gail" was the manager and did not in fact work out of the Odessa office today. Later on, Linda was called in order to report the situation & report her employee's reprehensible behavior. Apparently Andromeda had penned a false narrative about the interaction while issuing a false witness over the call that had been made. Linda had been lied to & her intelligence insulted but further believed the circumstance to be true. She's allowing this reprehensible behavior to continue while she herself began to exhibit similar patterns of bizarre behavioral issues. This is the most horrific & unprofessional office for a dentistry I've ever interacted with and you'll be wise enough to call elsewhere more deserving of your dollar.
