Then he basically goes dark and communication went from 8 to a 1 the second he had money in hand. When he finally contacted me again, stating the piece was finished he REFUSED TO SEND PICTURES expecting me to just come get it without seeing the finished piece first. When I called him out after multiple diatribes about "as an artist I'm giving you a piece for half the price" and "ive been doing this 30 years" etc. Discovered he actually wasnt finished at all, the mantle was only rough sanded and when I told him he should return the deposit and we could part ways, he got insulting and then (surprise) never returned the deposit. The frame was too long after my husband managed to adjust the frame to fit the width of the bed. We had to spend an additional $100 to get a frame that would fit our mattress because the one we purchased was not advertised correctly and we heard nothing back.
