(All pun intended. ) Pieces range in size from a fingernail to clusters over a foot tall. Most fossils are of smaller organisms. No dinosaurs bones here. Fossils are located in the jewelry counter, and around the store. Blue Nugget also has the largest selection of Native American jewelry in Goldfield Ghost Town. Multiple cases of jewelry, along with pieces hanging on the walls. It is an impressive selection. Employees are ready to not just sell jewelry but also give background information about the artist. Dream catchers found here are not limited to the standard design. Many have unique center patterns. Blue Nugget has their share of touristy items as well. They try to stay on brand with those being Southwest and South American themed products. A good portion of the items for children are touristy. A selection of prickly pear and spicy foods, mugs, shirts, small polished rocks/geodes, books, and mass produced jewelry. The list goes on. Commercially made jewelry is displayed seperate from the handmade pieces. This store is well stocked with merchandise. Items are thoughtfully arranged to maximize the space. Shelving matches the old west building they are housed. Historic look and the plethora of products are decor all on their own. When it comes to prices, for the most part, Blue Nugget has the other stores beat. Some of the best prices for a giftshop. Signs declaring this fact are not wrong. I wasn't expecting a giftshop in the ghost town to have such non tourist items. This giftshop could hold it's own outside of a tourist attraction. Blue Nugget is a great resource for gifts. There is no fee to park or enter the ghost town. Especially if looking for fossils or Native American jewelry, I recommend paying a visit to Blue Nugget.

There were three of us in our party, and we were seated inside. The wait was 10 minutes. They have seating outside to wait. Metzy took care of us from start to finish and her service was completely on point, friendly, and fast without ever feeling rushed. We ordered drinks, their famous chili, and burgers, and everything came out incredibly fast considering how packed the place was. The food was awesome. The chili was flavorful and hearty, a must try, the burgers were cooked perfectly and loaded with taste, and the beers were ice cold, exactly what you want on a busy weekend outing. For a spot that's this popular on a Saturday, the combination of quick service and great food really stood out. Given the rating we'd seen beforehand, we were pleasantly surprised; maybe it was our lucky day, but based on this visit, Tortilla Flat Salon deserves a much higher score. We'll definitely be back and will happily recommend it to friends and family.

It's attached to an outdoor bar, eatery, and a handful of quirky shops catering to tourists passing through, which just adds to the experience. The food was excellent and the service was cheerful and welcoming. We had the spicy bowl of chili (hot in the best way) and the steak fajita salad served in a giant edible shell--fun and delicious. This is a perfect day trip east of Phoenix or Scottsdale, and the restaurant is worth the stop before turning around and heading back.

Menu of drinks pretty extensive with espresso drink favorites, blended drinks, and teas ... hot or cold. Be prepared for a wait as there is only one machine and one barista in the place or at least there was when I went in this Thursday morning about 8 AM. There were lots of locals coming in ordering some blended, iced coffee drinks, which always take a lot of time to make. The good news is while you're waiting the little shop is absolutely chockablock with crafts, many of which are of Christian and religious meaning. It's a very interesting place inside with a couple of tables to sit although they were all marked with reserved signs which I couldn't tell were a joke or for real. Anyway, I ordered my standard 20 ounce hot Americano to compare the coffee with other area coffee shops. It's about the same, and I wasn't offered any sweetener or cream for the drink. The religious vibe of the place not my cup of tea, so I went outside and sat on one of the three concrete benches by the parking and enjoyed my coffee on a nice morning. The shop is tucked into the corner of a strip mall along Idaho, which makes it hard to see. I actually didn't see the sweet treats mentioned in the name. Maybe I just didn't look in the right place. There's so much in there, It's hard to tell. Not special enough for me to make the 45 minute drive from my home, but if I'm ever back up at those Pinal County government locations on Idaho I'll probably stop in.
