At 2 1/2 weeks I told Kenny that I needed to move in. The renovations were everywhere and nothing was completed but he guarantee that my bedroom/bathroom would be completed so I could be comfortable in the house. When I realized how much work still had to be done I put off moving in another week to give him more time. Needless to say nothing he said would be done was. 6 weeks later my house is still not finished. Not a single project has been completed. Many of them have been started but left not even half way done. The only sink he did install is done incorrectly. He rigged the plumbing underneath with tape promising he'd be back the next day. Hasn't been back to my home in over two weeks. He started the remodel of my shower but never connected the plumbing underneath the house and only half of the shower is actually tiled. The bench he built was done wrong and didn't allow room for the shower door to be installed. I ordered over 3,000 in cabinets that he said he was ordering through a reputable place. For two weeks he told me HE HAD the cabinets. I asked for them to be delivered repeatedly and there was always a reason he couldn't. When I talked to his wife I was told there was an issue and the cabinets weren't ready and still needed to be picked up. Funny considering he kept telling me he had them. When I finally did received the cabinets the quality was horrible. There are footprints on the wood, they aren't built out the correct material, the doors are too small, there's wood splinters everywhere, and the cuts aren't even straight. When I asked again about where the cabinets came from I was told they ordered from someone else without asking me first. It honestly looks like he tried to build them himself and pocket the money. And considering when I ask for the receipt and they're unable to give it to me I have no doubts I'm right. At one point HE said maybe it was best to just deliver the cabinets, get his stuff, and move on. When I agreed he lost his temper and said a lot of unprofessional things about me and him and his wife both blamed me for moving in to MY home when it wasn't finished yet even though it was AFTER the time he said it would be complete. When I finally had enough I asked for them to take the cabinets back and refund the money I was told that wouldn't be a problem. The next day the wife repeatedly asked for me to give him another chance instead of refunding the money. When I refused and told her I didn't trust his work or the quality she said she'd have to take some of the refund to pay for work done at the house even though I had already paid him half and not even half the work was done. I also had paid him 500 for a project that I added that he never completed (not getting that money back either). Kept telling me I don't understand construction and they had bills to pay so I should just let him finish. My opinion is they don't have the money to refund me. As of today I am still waiting for my refund and now they are no longer communicating or answering any messages. So after agreeing to the refund they are stealing my money by refusing to give it to me. So again DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!
