The clinical staff here is patient, caring, and very professional. The facility is clean and equipped with excellent tools that genuinely support high-quality treatment. Unfortunately, after our fourth visit we were told our insurance was not covering the sessions. I explained that we had an approved referral and requested time to contact Tricare, as similar errors have happened in the past. Instead, I was told the billing was correct and that we would need to pay out of pocket, even with a discount. When I contacted Tricare, they confirmed the claim had been submitted incorrectly and explained the proper steps. After I relayed this information, the billing manager agreed to resubmit the claim, though the interaction felt tense. Because of this issue, despite having approved visits from October through March, we were only able to use three and had to cancel the rest. The actual treatment at Fyzical was excellent, and had we not encountered this billing problem, we would have gladly continued care there.

Unfortunately, the front desk experience ruined everything. The receptionist, who spends her time browsing Pinterest on the company computer, was rude and unhelpful. She made it extremely difficult to schedule an appointment, and that should have been my first red flag. She even canceled my appointment, blaming it on Tricare's new referral system. In reality, everything had already been submitted correctly, but their billing department mishandled it. To make things worse, she later called me accusing me of missing the very appointment that she herself had canceled. This was nothing but unnecessary chaos. It seems they want everything handed to them without doing their job, and patients end up paying the price. I feel bad for Miss Roth, but hiring someone like this at the front desk is a huge mistake. They don't work well with Tricare. Save yourself the headache and GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

These folks set and keep timely appointments and send text reminders to keep you on track. They worked with me and now I can actually raise my arm a bit without pain. I still need more work, but I am able to see the progress. I was in so much pain but now I rarely need to take pain medication. This is huge for me. My surgeon is seeing is I can get more visits approved, so I may be able to use their aquatic area for water based therapy- they have it all here.

I kept telling him enough and that it was really hurting but he did not care and kept pushing my arm way back and in different directions anyway. I honestly felt badly and it wasn't ok to just not show; HOWEVER the response I received is that I had already been cancelled due to "non-compliance" and "if I need anything don't hesitate to contact us! "With the exclamation. I let them know that I don't have to do a GD thing except stay black and die. No patient has to COMPLY and put up with passive aggressive exclamation points. I am a successful therapist in private practice. I would NEVER say they have to COMPLY. If anything I would express concern and enquire if there was an issue that could be addressed to help them make the appointment. Maybe they aren't completely satisfied with the service. Or maybe they have PTSD and Parkinson's LIKE ME and don't sleep well which makes it difficult for them to get up early. And maybe they are embarrassed and don't know how to convey this because people will say cruel, ignorant, and insensitive things. And maybe trying to do exercises and following the direction is difficult due to feeling like your body is portraying you. In essence, I had to really think about what I was doing. I guess noone there understands how much mental effort it takes to get your body to comply with Parkinson's,MS, etc. And for kickers I had to be redirected on how to exit. Because I was that confused Point is and I know no noone really cares about customer service, but you build a business by building relationships. They may have the best services and the most qualified employees, so I wouldn't want to discourage anyone from going there. The only thing I will say is you never know where someone is or what they are going through. I am a vet and my body is falling apart. People don't understand or care what we put our bodies through and not just from war. Then we deal with services that show no empathy and make things worse. Look up how many vets kill themselves everyday. There are paper services out there but they are often manned by cruel people. Our community is really hurting and some more than me. It's heartbreaking. All of this could have been managed with some curiosity. So the next time a vet comes with a similar or different issue, I hope they show a little bit of concern about how what may seem easy is incredibly difficult to do.... To include "Complying". That is what I "need!"; absolutely heartbreaking.

I have suffered from back pain on an off for many years, but a recent severe episode of back pain required a spine specialist with extensive experience. I was referred to Harry Koster (Spine & Rehab) and have now been to two sessions in the past week. The new patient on-boarding experience was very professional and thorough. The entire staff, from the reception desk to the admin folks who processed my insurance paperwork were friendly and efficient. My appointment started right on time, which I really appreciate in an era when doctors and medical practitioners don't respect patients' time. I came from a half-hour away, and appreciated not having to wait an hour in the waiting room. The drive is worth it. I never select medical care providers by "convenience". My health care is worth an extra fifteen minutes of drive time. My experience with the entire staff was exceptional. The entire staff exceeded my expectations, and especially Mr. Koster, who took his time with me to explain my condition and how to improve it to relieve my symptoms and to help to prevent future flare-ups. Mr. Koster is McKenzie Method certified, a distinction that distinguishes Harry Koster, PT, from other physical therapists that do not have that certification. The McKenzie method is a long-time trusted method to treat and prevent back pain. I'm happy to report that, thanks to Harry Koster, I'm on the road to recovery, with noticeable improvement within a week of the onset of my back (lower lumbar) pain.

Danny, the physical therapist and owner of Thrive, is professional, warm and cares a great deal about his patients. He is encouraging and supportive, and pushes me to accomplish the goals we set. From my first encounter some months ago on the phone to my initial evaluation, it was apparent that Danny and his entire staff were very sensitive and professional in how they treated patients. After evaluating me, Danny laid out a plan for intensive therapy. Progress was slow at the beginning but after much perseverance, both on my part and that of his staff, I was pain free. And have remained that way ever since. More recently I injured my neck and was treated by his associate Hector. Hector is also a physical therapist who incorporates some different techniques in his treatment. He practices traditional PT but in addition, uses "dry needling". Again, the professionalism and caring I experienced with everyone at the clinic was over the top. And once again after some intensive work with Hector, I am good as new. If you need Physical Therapy, I recommend you ask your PCP or Orthopedist to refer you for treatment at Thrive. Yes it is bit of a drive but worth every minute it takes to get there.
