The owners are so friendly and they have made a huge effort to create a space that is welcoming, inviting, and offers a unique selection of fabric and quilting accessories. The day I visited they also had fresh coffee and pan dulce for customers! One of the owner's kids was nearby helping with internet stuff and the husband and wife team worked together to cut fabric and ring me up. The fabric selection is high quality, with many patterns and prints that reflect the region's Mexican/American culture. There's an absolutely gorgeous Cotton + Steel thread display of every imaginable color. Embroidery thread, sewing notions, and a few quilting patterns are also available. I already love this store and can't wait to see how they grow. Very excited to have this resource in Del Río!

There's a large equine care section for horse lovers, my daughter found everything she needed to bathe, and groom horses for family friends. The store has a bit of everything, like the general stores of yester-year, work apparel, machinery/tools, cleaning supplies, and products to care for most animals. Prices seem to be comparable to what you might spend elsewhere, and you won't break out in hives, if you're looking for common basics to get a job done.

If you find a nice Ashley furniture, these people can order it from a catalog and give you good price. Sometimes, the price was quoted similar to Ashley, sometimes, a lot lower. My friends had a problem with something they purchased and they came to pick up the item the next day to repair it. These people are not all over you when you walk in. I think they actually lack friendliness. Something is very comical about the way they are. They are good people. It's almost like they don't care too much if you buy or not. In my opinion, it is still worth your time if you are trying to find a good deal. Check them out.
