Wow wow wow. First the views of course are to die for. Second, the cocktails are unreal. Finally the food. I ordered the fried shrimp tacos and I highly recommend. They're crispy and citrusy and gushing with sauce. Don't ever skimp on the sauce! We also had their whole fresh caught fish. He brought it out for us to see and then they cooked it beautifully. The fish changes per season/day but always delicious and it feels so good eating something freshly caught that day. We'll be back next time we're in PM.

Such a charming seafood restaurant! Make sure to arrive early to guarantee getting catch of the day. The outdoor seating near the water is magical. The ceviche is delicious, as well as the adobo shrimp served with polenta. It was so yummy I had an extra side of polenta. The wait staff are kind and make great recommendations. On a nice night you can easily sit for a while enjoying food and drinks. Highly recommend visiting this restaurant.

Sooo good!! We hit this spot after snorkeling with Extreme Adventure which was a great experience ... Service here was great, food quality top notch, and the margarita was well balanced. No complaints whatsoever. I'll be back!!! Oh wait, the view..... Incomparable.

This is one of my favorite places for dinner in Puerto Morelos . I always get the wood grilled fish and it is fantastic. There were eight of us at this meal, and I think everyone had a great dinner except for the person who ordered the ribs. They were definitely the toughest ribs I've ever seen and we're not able to be cut with a knife. However I guess we learned our lesson and will stick to the foods there are more known for. Service on this trip was pretty slow, but that hasn't been the case the past. Hopefully, this was an anomaly

The service was fantastic. The food was beautifully plated, and so so delicious! The ceviche wad best I have had since visiting Peru! The ambiance is great, overlooking the ocean, great music playing with boats flowing in the dock. Honestly a great spot for a romantic date or celebratory dinner!

This place isn't the easiest to spot from street view but it has to be one of the best restaurants in Puerto Morelos. The ambiance, service, food and drinks were amazing. The ceviche was the best I've ever had, and the lobster entrée recommended by the waiter was out of this world. Out of all my dining experiences during this recent trip, this restaurant was up there in my top favorite. I would definitely dine here again!

The service was top notch with attention to our every need by our server, Alejandro, and the other staff despite arriving shortly before closing. Alejandro made great menu suggestions and we had 2 delicious, very tasty meals! Appetizer (shrimp empanadas), entrees (raviolis and shrimp), and desserts (apple tart and banana cake) were definitely the best food of our entire Cancun vacation! To top it off, the restaurant is located right on the beach so the atmosphere is unbeatable! We had a wonderful meal under the full moon. Amazing place! We will definitely be back anytime we're in the area!

A surprisingly upscale meal at a chill beach side patio. You have to enter through some shops but it's truly a hidden gem. We were all impressed by the presentation and taste of all the dishes. Definitely give it a try!

What a gem, walk inside through the little market and be amazed when you sit down (we recommend the little dock that has about 4 tables). The service was exceptional, so friendly and sincere, perhaps the best service we have seen in years (from all the various countries we have visitors). The food was also really good, cocktails on point and we ordered a Mexican wine bottle (Zinfandel/Cabernet, incognito) which was good as well (ask for a bucket of ice so the wine is on good temp). $$ for value was on point as well, with the wine it became a bit more pricy, but still this would have been $350 dinner in US for two people, we paid $200. Amazing fresh fish, and lots of other amazing dishes such a ceviche, soft shell crab taco's, octopus dish and name sake fish of the restaurant as a main. We probably could have eaten this food with 4 people, so consider that within the price. Overall a lovely unique experience that will be hard to repeat thanks to Martha, Ivan and Samuel (host)!

We went back a second time during our few days in Puerto Morelos, as it was truly amazing. The food is gourmet & remarkable, both taste & presentation. The service is great & the entire staff is friendly & professional. It is on the beach with a high thatched roof & huge windows overlooking a frw moored fishing boats. Home made corn & pepita tortillas! The best ceviche we ever had (& I make ceviche & eat it out often as well). I had whole grilled fish & we had grilled Caribbean shrimps to die for! SO GREAT!! We had a variet of gourmet tacos the first time we were here & also the Ceviche The prices were good as well.

First - the view! The craft cocktails are superb...and the best ceviche I've ever had in my entire life! We also got the fish tacos...I cannot put into words how happy my mouth is right now!!! Do not miss this spot!!!

First of all you are outside on a big deck with a thatched roof. They have bench seats for The long tables that can easily handle a party of ten and 4 seat tables with chairs. The benches are great for a crowd. Very laid back vibe with mellow Brazilian music in the background. Just got the shrimp taco appetizer and their twist on it was different than the run of the mill dime a dozen tacos. A nice change. I had the fillet (since I'm afraid of the bones on the whole fish). Tasty, light with a hint of spices letting the natural flavor of the fresh fillet come through. Add in the black beans and the roasted onions and you got a wonderful dinner. They have Mexican wines and an assortment of beers. But I choose to have water to enjoy the flavors of the food solo. Nice assortment of desserts but I'm a sucker for the fresh strawberry ice cream. If you're looking for a truly laid back place to enjoy a cocktail and a great meal this is a welcome new spot to town. Enjoy! Ps. I only give my wife and moms cooking 5 stars.

Great service and cool al fresco vibe, you start of with a big basket of tortilla chips and a variety of salsas. I started off with a Ahi Tostada and Wifey started with a seafood soup which were both tasty. We shared a fresh Catch local Hogfish and Grilled Octopus which were absolutely delicious! Four items, and two drinks with tip came out to a little over $50 usd. Definitely worth the visit!

The vibe is super relaxed, with all seats in the sand. My kids enjoyed chasing the iguanas and sitting on the palm tree (which strangely grows parallel with the ground) while we waited for our food. We didn't see the option on the menu but our guide told us there is a big cooler and you can just pick out your fish to get it fried up fresh for you. Sure enough, there was a huge white cooler where we could sort through the fish options and pick one the right size for our family. It came with sides like beans, guac and tortillas, and all meals come with chips plus tomato and jalapeno salsas. We also ordered ceviche and the total price was less than $40 for a family of 4. More importantly, everything was super fresh and delicious! I wish I lived nearby so I could come back again - I would be a regular if I could!

I have stayed in Puerto Morelos three times in the past two years and gone to El Picudo about 6 or…read moreseven times. It's easily my favorite seafood restaurant in Puerto Morelos - which is full of seafood restaurants. The bad part is that there is no ocean view and no air conditioning, you need a car or a taxi to get there and the staff speaks little English. The good part is that it is clearly a very popular local place - my party has always been the only obviously non-local group in a usually crowded place- and the seafood is amazingly fresh, perfectly prepared, served fast (considering it is made to order) and delicious. The portions are enormous. The price is reasonable. One can eat like a king for 15 to 25 dollars a person. My favorite is the octopus ceviche. The octopus is soft and fresh and perfectly cooked. Tossed with very fresh finely chopped onions, tomatoes and peppers in a lemon, chili and cilantro sauce that is not too spicy. The best ceviche I have had in Quintana Roo. A medium portion is a very ample appetizer for two people or a satisfying meal for one person. We generally follow up with the whole fried hogfish, around a pound of perfectly fried fish, very fresh, crispy on the outside, moist on the inside, nicely salted. Served with a salad, a small portion of yellow rice and a really strong hot sauce on the side. The octopus escabeche and the shrimp with garlic sauce are also excellent choices. A cold Corona beer (or two) completes the meal.
