I got a very friendly welcome when i entered the shop, and the aroma was absolutely wonderful on entering, i tod the lady what i wanted and she gave me so many testers to try, not knowing really what my auntie really liked i went with the advice of the sales assistant and went with the most popular perfume they sell.Then came the best bit , the assistant then went to wrap it up and how beautiful did she do it was absolutely gorgeous, just hw a gift should be wrapped i was given a sample for myself and if you write your name and address down they get in touch with you to go for different treatments all free!!!! Got to rate this shop 1st class its a must if you ever go to Chester.

They carry a wide range of both mens and ladies fragrances as well as body lotions and gift sets. The ladies at this shop are extremely helpful and often have tiny samples available, especially for new perfumes. Prices are often cheaper than the larger stores, so it is worth calling by and comparing the offers.

The Perfume Shop has two branches in Manchester's Arndale Centre, this one is located next to EE…read moreand opposite Boost Juice and Footlocker Kids, it is in a decent condition near the Market Street enterence into the Arndale opposite Lloyds Bank and the huge Boots store. I've called in here twice now and I've had so many different results in terms of obtaining samples. Firstly, I came in to ask if there was any samples and the staff member seemed nice and probably gave me about 6 or 7 from good brands too such as Sauvage by Dior, Hugo Boss and Jean Paul Gaultier. Secondly, I came in and did the same a week later with a new member of staff and was only given two, one was an opened Hugo Boss Intense and the other was just a standard one. The member of staff seemed a little disinterested on that occasion. Comparing to other Perfume Shop's I have visited, this is typical and is still much better than The Fragrance Shop, who I have had bad experiences with in Liverpool and just a few stores down also in the Manchester Arndale. The store inside is okay, it is pretty much average for any store of its sort and does seem to have a good stock of the main brands, of course it is quite hard to browse without asking a member of staff as near enough everything is behind their till, which is different to the Bradford branch who mainly use this method with some on the back wall too. This store is okay and it is just basically average, average, average, yet I feel only deserves a high two star rating because of immense competition and it should be doing more in a city centre with so many other places to go to win customers such as other branches of TPS, The Fragrance Shop, Boots, House of Fraser, Selfridges, Debenhams - The list goes on so you can get my point!

Some prices seemed slightly higher than Boots nearby, but the selection overall was satisfactory. The store was also clean, the one-way system due to COVID seemed difficult to follow at some of the "narrow" parts of the store. 3* - Decent Superdrug store, I do prefer Boots nearby though in terms of the overall selection.

There is a separate perfume counter selling all the latest designer perfumes but these rae not particularly cheap. Throughout the store there are often offers on the toiletries, gift sets etc but on the whole prices are not as low as bodycare which is just opposite. Superdrug also sells a selection of mobile phones with contracts, and has a small confectionery/ drinks section for snacks on the go. There are often deals available on the bottled drinks. At christmas there are a large number of gifts and gift sets available within the store.

Overall, this store is quite small but is a typical store in regards to The Fragrance Shop (TFS), and it is similar to the old branch they did have in Manchester up until opening the new one around the start of April. The staff members seemed unfriendly, unhelpful and unwilling to talk to me about possible fragrances, she just seemed like she couldn't be bothered, and didn't like her work. This is a shame. I was told there wasn't any samples, she also didn't seem willing to at least let me smell/sample any of the other fragrances, which seemed similar to The Perfume Shop's policy also in Blackburn, which made no sense and made me feel like they didn't care or want a sale, so sadly due to poor customer service skills and the other comments mentioned above I sadly feel this store deserves a single one star.

It has wide entrance doors and wide aisles and is very accessible to disabled shoppers or mums with buggies. Bodycare stocks most branded toiletries, hair care, baby care items, gift sets, holiday items such as suncream and a range of basic first aid bits and vitamins etc. Most of the stuff on sale at bodycare is discounted quite a bit compared to other retailers and some great deals on branded goods can be found. Bodycare also sells famous name perfumes and aftershaves and gift sets of both, again at usually discounted prices. The store is very clean and well organised and staff are very helpful. Small queues at busy times but nothing drastic.

In my experience, they're all the same set up -- a little box shop with floor-to-ceiling choices of perfume and fragrance. The lads are well catered for, so it's not a women's only experience. The range is huge, from your popstar creations to your old school forever classics. I love the range -- they always carry my classics: Ghost (original), Elizabeth Arden Red Door, Yves St Laurent Parisienne, and Estée Lauder Pleasures. (And I guess now you know what I might smell like, which feels faintly personal now that I list them all.) I often find they have good deals on around Christmas and seasonally, sometimes challenging online purchasing. The staff are often where this place shines as they seem to know the whole gamut and range, which has to be a challenge given they smell fifty scents a day. It's a lovely little shop and I'm a real fan.
