Last month I was told they were too busy so they can't order my medication for me again. I had to go about three days without medication. And the pharmacy told me I can even go five to seven days without medication. And this month also because of the bank holiday they couldn't order my medication. When I phoned them to find out they disconnected me after almost 20 minutes of waiting. I phone again and the reply was pharmacist is too busy call back in two hours. The product range is good, they have a nice range of most products you'd expect to find in a Boots, including the Bulldog Skincare range which was the main purpose of my visit. There is an Opticians and Pharmacy area as you'd expect from a large Boots store. I did find the gift-sets to be a little poor, maybe that is because people of Liverpool seem to have raided the shelves as they are currently 50% off, but the selection is much better in Manchester, many big brands which are sold in the latter didn't seem to be sold here, but they did have some cool Twinings Tea gift-sets, which aren't sold in the former, however, they did seem to be damaged, ripped and one was even missing a tea-bag (thieves?) It's a large Boots store, the selection is pretty good, I do feel they should do more to maintain the quality of products, I get it isn't the store's fault to a full extent but they should be maintaining them and not selling products which have obviously been tampered with, prices were OK/competitive in the majority of areas. I do prefer my local Manchester - Market Street store as I find the selection to be slightly better, with more facilities overall, but this still is a good store in Liverpool. 4*

On the ground floor you have a large pharmacy area, cosmetics concessions, perfumes, toiletries, holiday items, food, and hair products. Upstairs has baby clothes and products, a large camera and film processing section and a wide range of electronics. The different products are organised into clearly marked sections and it is easy to find everything in store. If you are a bit lost the staff are more than happy to help you. There are often offers displayed for multibuys and the products are competitively priced. When I used to work in the city centre I bought my lunch at Boots for most of the week. They have an excellent value meal deal where you can buy sandwiches, wraps, salads or sushi, chocolate or crisps and a drink for about £3.50. The food is always of a good quality.

Their shops can be found normally in the middle of the high street and inside the shops items are sensibly organised so that lunch time shopping is done quickly. Superdrug stock the same sort of items as boot. You can find mens deodrants and shaving items as well as aftershave. For women they have lots of beauty products. I am not a women myself but from previous visits they seemed to have a good selection of womens things. They also sell food and drink which is also convient. I would go as far as to say that Superdrug is much cheaper then boots. They regularly have good offers on. They vary from buy 2 get one free to just plain old fashion savings. I find the staff very polite and efficient. They always seem to have the right number of people serving so that you are never queuing for long. This is a plus point for me as I hate wasting my lunch hour in a queue. I like Superdrug and given a choice out between Boots and Superdrug, I would choose Superdrug 99% of the time!

The disadvantages of this store is the fact they don't offer bags and the huge misleading sign in the window which says 'students get ten percent off'... if you've purchased an N.U.S Extra card. That's right, your student card officially issued by your university with photo I.D and N.U.S stamped on the bag will not suffice to prove you are a student. Poor show, Superdrug! What utter misers...

After a…read morefew minutes the pharmacist opened the front door to let the delivery man out, then closed the door again totally ignoring me and other customers waiting outside. No apology for being late, no information on how long it was going to take before she's ready to open, nothing! After spending another 15 min waiting I gave up and went back home not wanting to waste any more time on them. It was the last time I left my prescription there or bought anything from them. Zero respect for customers and their time.

The staff are really hepful and friendly offering advice and help. They offer blood pressure and other health tests in a quiet area od the shop, it is fully cofidental. It is open till 6 on weekdays. and till 12.30 on a saturday morning. They will also offer to arrange your repeat prescriptions for you . And do offer a delivery service. as long as there is a person over 18 to take the tablets off the delivery lady. In side the chemist at xmas thay have presents for children and all the family. Sometimes they have very good offers on at certain times of the year. ie summer -hayfever tablets.
