The staff in-store are probably the rudest I've ever experienced at a Boots location, they had warehouse cages in the way which blocked off multiple aisles, yet the staff were all congregated and talking to each other and they simply ignored then refused to move them out of the way, allowing clear passage. They didn't seem to care about overall customer experience and clear passage of the store, it was such a mess that no one would be able to even squeeze past, yet it wasn't part of the store which was deliberately closed of either, meaning customers would have to walk in a giant circle all around the store. Extremely dissapointing and not fit up to the regular standards of Boots. 1*

I then had to endure a string of Dreadful, awful, other local pharmacies. Cohen's chemist, the large one under the medical centre being the absolute worst anyone could ever imagine! I am a single disabled lady. with quite a large complicated list of regular monthly medications. This has been my first month with them, my prescription was ordered and collected in a very timely manner, without me needing to make 1 million phone calls. All 18 items were requested without any being missed off or left out. They were polite well mannered and extremely helpful and professional both on the phone and in person, and my medication was delivered to my door in a very timely manner with no problems what so ever. It has been 6 months, and 3 chemists since i have had a service this good, with no problems, and a chemist with staff and delivery service that rates 10/10.

There is the pharmacy, No7 range and essentials range, most of the toiletries brands, baby section, vitamins and potions, travel, perfumes and electricals, photo, sandwiches, salads, juices and milk, some confectionery and crisps. The choice could be larger but given the area of the shop - it's understandable the choice is not that great. The sandwiches aren't good - shapers, or any other brand - they are just plain awful - tasteless and overpriced, the choice isn't great either. The staff are not that warm, some girls who work there are nice enough but they all could be a bit more polite and helpful. The annoying bit is also that the shelves are not stocked very often, so when you want to e.g. want to buy the 3for 2 vitamins of one choice - there will be one or two items but not three. Some products are not replaced in days - annoying and frustrating. All in all, this Boots is not that bad but it is not that great either when it comes to choice and service.

With parking directly outside this is a very convenient Boots store…read more It is a large store with a huge range of the usual toiletries, perfumes, cosmetics, baby items, gift, medicines and some electricals (mainly personal care). The thing I particularly like about this store is it is quite relaxed. I suspect this is because it doesn't have as many 'pop in' shoppers as say the city centre store. So if you are going to gift shop, re-do your cosmetics etc and want to browse and take your time this is a really good store to choose.

There is an Opticians here too which is handy, to go alongside the regular services you'd find in a Boots. I do find shutting at 17:30 to be annoying, especially for such a large town. The only other branch nearby, which is ideal for late openings (Peel Centre Retail Park, Great Portwood Street) also closes at 17:30, so there is surely a need for a store which opens later in the area, especially for the essential Pharmacy services. I did find a lack of staff on the shop floor to be even more annoying, the only staff member I could find was a security guard at the front of the store, who was friendly but not helpful with finding certain items (That wasn't his job and I only asked him as there was no one else). 3* - If you can go into the city centre of Manchester, the Market Street store is much better, I actually had to go in there on my way home as I couldn't get what I needed here.

They…read morehave a large pay and display car park right outside so this Boots is useful if you don't want to go right into Stockport shoping centre. This Boots sells all the usual things you would expect: medicines, make up, toiletries etc. They also have a large electrical range and a perfume counter with some really good offers on. This Boots isn't usually too busy because of its location and you don't usually need to queue long at the tills. Boots also run an advantage card system where you get 4 points for every pound you spend. These points can then be spent on items in Boots which have a star next to the price tag. I try to save my points up for Christmas and get quite a lot this way.

This is a very small store, so it only has a selection of the products that boots sell…read more It's handy to go for a sandwich as the range is fairly good as part of the meal deal. Also if you need to get essentials but can purchase cheaper elsewhere on the moor. This store has in the past been fairly good for reductions on some lines but this is not a regular thing. There is a chemist section so can get prescriptions from this branch if it is easier to get to then the other one on fargate. It still has the same offers on as other boots if it stocks the products. The staff are very friendly and helpful in this branch.
