This shop although seems a little dated in it's decor make up for it in the stock they have and often their good deals. The shop has wide isles so there's no problems with passing other people or if you have pushchair. The staff are all helpful and friendly. The parking outside the shop is free but often it's busy all times through the day. The do offer good sale items too at times. I have found one or two good bargains here. I have overall found it slightly cheaper than other similar shops. It's situated in the heart of Beccles.

I have only seem about two women working here and one of these are on the checkout. The other is normally around tidying shelves and restocking if need be. They stock various products including haircare, beauty, make up, toiletries, cleaning, baby bits and gifts at christmastime. These tend to be cheaper than boots but they don't have as many good deals on compared to other places. Anyway, there's parking outside which is free unless you come on a Friday and that's their main market day outside and then you're not allowed to park here. This store is really spacious and only has a couple of isles to walk up and down. Staff are friendly and it's really quiet.

Boots has my vote.. even when back in London for a visit last year, I made sure to load up on some…read moreitems that I just think are pretty fab. Now I realize that our Target stores sell their products. Good for this humanitarian company. Yes, did you even know...in 1849, John and Mary Boot of Nottingham acted on a strong, guiding social conscience. Their hope: that good healthcare and remedies would be available to all, even and esp. the destitute. This company still has an intact, strong heartbeat for the well-being of the poor...it invests over 50MM GBP annually in the healthcare for the UK. They also develop community initiatives to aid the needy, and pay employees for days off taken to volunteer with charities. As well, Boots abides by a rigorous environmental policy for their transport fleet, and *ethically sources* their products. Wow. Humbling Y I just love to support them and give them my business. Their work moves me much. PS Mint melon body scrub.... transforming...can't leave the suds zone without an uplifted mood...

Downstairs is all the make up and seperate stalls for dior, no7 etc, there are also all the medicene items and food/lunch offers. Upstairs there are all the kids clothes, baby items, opticians and photo development area. throughout the store there are plenty of machines to check how many points you have on your clubcard (best clubcard deal as you get 4 points for every pound better then the rest) and what deals are on that may be relevant to you. The staff are all friendly and there are always plenty around to help. They always have good 3 for 2 and BOGOF offers on.

Have been using this pharmacy for years but no longer after this mornings treatment…read more Called in to collect the normal monthly prescription, Pharmacist is in a consultation so cant get the controlled drugs till he is finished . Normally would not have been a problem but had hospital appointment with consultant at the N&N and did not know how long I would be or if back before they closed. Response " oh well you'll just have to wait or come back and walked away" Not a very customer friendly voice or attitude! At this point explained about going to the N&N and it was the controlled drugs that were important and needed. At this point the non controlled drugs were placed in front of me and she walked off. Totally unprofessional and uncalled for. Not another word did she speak. I waited for a short period but then said Sorry cant wait any longer and walked towards the door. At this pointed I was shouted at " What about these" If I cant get the whole prescription I wont take any of it. A half laugh " you can get them when you get the others" Again uncalled for and totally unprofessional. When I called in same female member of staff with the same unwelcoming and friendly attitude Whilst she shouted at another member of staff to get the controlled drugs out the cupboard I asked if possible could I be given the head office contact details please. She asked another member of staff and then replied with " we dont have one anything would get sent here. Ok what about complaints? Oh is this about this mornings incident. That is none of her business and not a question she should have asked. My response was " I'm here to collect a prescription" It p was placed on the counter and I signed for the controlled drugs. At which point the bag contain was handed to me and " Thank you very much Good Bye" the sarcastic tone was not disguised what so ever. Whilst I appreciate the pharmacist was doing a consultation in the same position, a long standing customer of many years, would have knocked the door and asked if it would be possible for the Pharmacist to take them out the cupboard under the circumstances. Unfortunately at the N&N additional treatment was required and sadly as the heavy duty pain controlling drugs were required could not stay and receive it. Difficult choice but the medication was required. Very, very disappointed and will now seek an alternative pharmacy.
