They offer some really great deals and it has quite a big christmas shop during that festive season! they often have quite a lot of staff on the tills so you're never left waiting for long when purchasing your items. I like the fact that boots are also doing promotional offers whereby they'll give you vouchers if you spend over a certain amount which is an added bonus however, if you're looking for cheap deals then you're best off heading to Superdrug.

I only shopped on the lower level of the store that is where the photography, pharmacy, food and baby departments are. On the upper level (via lift or escalator) there are the usual toiletries, make up and perfume concessions. the store was very clean and the shop assistants were readily available to assist and serve me. The added benefit of shopping in Boots is using their loyalty card for 'advantage 'points and I have always found an advantage card machine available in this store.

The No.7 counter is really small, but the No.7 lady is really helpful if you need tips on what to buy or how to apply. The crazy part about this store is the toys etc are all upstairs, and there is no public lift so if you are with a baby/toddler you need to grab a sales assistant so they take you up in the goods lift..! Staff on the till are helpful and will nearly always tell you if you are about to miss an offer by not buying enough etc. They have lots of kids clothes at the back of the store next to the pharmacy including nearly always a sale rail.

Being a small shop there's a limited range of goods, but they cram a lot into a small space. Some of the make-up (particularly nail varnish) looks quite old, so I'm not sure how many people buy their cosmetics here. Having said that they were the only Boots branch in 5 I tried which stocked the particular shade of foundation I wanted so hats off to them for that. There's a pharmacy in this branch and the staff appear knowledgeable about the various over-the-counter medicines they sell. They're very good at recommending the Boots version (where one is available) which can save you some money. Staff have always been friendly when I've been in so it's a nice place to shop, even though you might have to go further afield for anything out of the ordinary.
