I've never had to wait long for a prescription to be made up and you can amuse yourself by looking round the shop while you wait. There are loads of weird and wonderful items in stock and there are always bargains to be had. I always come home with something other than the prescription I went in for - examples are a mini fan for a £1 in the summer and a webcam kit for £4.99 more recently. Advice is available from the pharmacist if you want it and they always make sure to check properly who you are before giving you the drugs (again unlike another pharmacy I could name).

I came in looking for toiletries for back home. In particular, I was little short on floss and Compeed bandages. I found other stuff too as foreign brands and packaging are always interesting. The store itself was on the small side and crowded with fellow travelers. Personal help seemed to be a little short, and the self checkout lanes all had lines. Like any other crowded situation, I was happy to find what I was looking for and get out.

When I asked why this had happened, he mumbled that it was a pharmacy request. When I advised that she was in the wrong queue ,he did not answer me. I raised this with the Manager, John, who advised me that he would take this matter up, but ?I believe this will be treated with a pinch of salt. I also never found the supermarket particuarly clean and tidy it wasn't by far one of Sainsbury's best outlets I have been to a very nice one in Woking and the difference is massive. Although... As of November 2008 they are extending and refurbishing which is long overdue. I have yet to go but if it is good I just might start shopping in Sainsburys instead. Watch this space
