They do sell a small range of medicines (over the counter stuff that you might also find in a supermarket, for the most part) but they don't have a pharmacy.

They also sell some more unusual stuff such as pastes and potions for variious ailmnets, and have a range of cosmetics and perfumes etc.

This Boots store, located in a retail park, is not as large as it's compatriot in the city centre…read morebut is still well stocked. As it's a bit out of the way, it's an excellent choice to visit for some bargains, especially in the recent Christmas sales, or if you're paying a visit to the nearby Tesco. Parking is easily available outside and the staff are friendly and quick to offer help.

It does get very busy though, as it serves the whole of the peachcroft estate and surrounding areas. As well as dispensing prescriptions they also offer all the usual pharmacy services such as the facility to speak confidentially to the pharmacist for advice, and a wide range of over the counter medication. They are handy if you run out of toiletries and need something in a hurry, but are quite expensive compared to supermarkets. The staff are usually friendly, and most are helpful although I have come across one or two who cant really be bothered. I have on a couple of occasions been given the wrong medication from a prescription, but I guess this can happen (although it shouldnt!) in all busy pharmacies so I would make sure you check what you are taking!
