They also have some snacks and chilled drinks. The store is nicely laid out and easy to negotiate even with a buggy (or travel system as they are called now!) or wheelchair. There never seem to be big queues and the staff are efficient and helpful.

Feeling unwell, then it's the place to go (don't waste the Docs time if it's only a sniffle). The staff are more than willing to help you out and will advice you what to do if they can't.

I've never needed to ask for help in here so I'm not sure what the staff are like but it is always fun to have a poke around it. They have some great deals on fairly regularly and if I was having a kids party I'd definately make this a stop on the circuit.

As the previous reviewer mentioned, it tends to be cheaper than Boots for most things. They do sell a small range of medicines (over the counter stuff that you might also find in a supermarket, for the most part) but they don't have a pharmacy.

I cannot see myself going here for anything but something I'm already comfortable with. It's just not the kind of place I've ever gotten help from. They have a selection of their products here, inlcuding make-up, bath and body stuff and health products such as medicines. They also have a pharmacy which is handy, especially as Boots pharmacies tend to give the well known brands of medication rather than the cheaper generic versions. So if for example you want a proper ventolin inhalor rather than a generic salbutamol one then you are more likely to get it at Boots than anywhere else! Boots also have a weighing scale which costs about 20p to use and gives you a printed out copy of your weight and BMI. A small shop, but very well laid out and a good variety of products.
