They had a lot of choices in this store. I was surprised by the variety or boots, hats, clothing and accessories for men, women and children. The staff in the boot department was fantastic! He answered my many questions regarding cowboy boots on fit, style and durability. I'm new to cowboy boots being from the east coast but I found their selection impressive. As for the rest of the staff in the store, I'd say that I was a little underwhelmed. It was not very busy inside; however, they seemed more interested in one another than helping staff. We were not helped a single time we were in there. Asked the front desk for help getting the other boot and the little TEENAGER that was behind the counter had a terrible attitude. Just gave us our total while we're only holding one boot?!?? Proceeds to have someone grab it for her and did not offer us a box or a bag for the purchase. Quite possibly the worst retail experience I've had in a long time and that's saying something because I'm no spring chicken and I SHOP. The service is beyond overbearing. No less than 4 associates were up on me in no time. I politely said I was just looking at women's boots. One woman narrowed in with "What about these?" "Do you like these?" etc....My son was looking for pants and had the same experience. We were both completely irritated. I was just in Boot Barn. Spent 264.00 for Christmas presents including a new pair of boots for my soon to be daughter in law. The sales associates were nice, not friendly particularly but nice. They didn't bring a box for the boots. Now I've worn boots for over 50 years from all makers. Boots always come with a box. Got one today too but had to pay 1.00 for the box to put the new boots in. No brand on the box just a box. It's not the buck that bothers me it's when someone spends 264.00 (265.00 with box) you would think a box would be gratis for the boots. Boot barn has now lost a long time customer to make a buck. Dandales it is next time! read more

Ordered 2 cowboy hats for my Grandsons, when it got here there was only one hat in the box, no receipt or any paperwork, 2 openings for 2 hats but only one delivered. Called cust care and they said they needed to follow protocol and would credit us a hat while they investigated THEIR mistake. Just received email that they were canceling my order. They said they would call back within 2 hours but no calls only an email. Such a disappointment. I will never do buisness with boot barn again. Dissatisfied customer read more

I came in on 12/05/2020 at 4:30 pm. The lady working at the register with brunette hair and gauges was absolutely awful and I cannot comprehend that a business would allow such awful people to work with their customers. I'm an employee in the bootbarn distribution center and I have better communication skills then any person in that building. Worst experience I have ever had! read more

If you feel like being hounded by employees when you are trying stuff on or trying to find something you like come to this place. We've only been here today for about 20 mins and have been asked several times by the same person if we are finding everything ok and haven't moved from the previous spot they asked before. Towards the end of our visit an employee stranded right beside us and was watching our every move like we were tearing shit up. If you don't like being bothered and hounded don't come here. read more

I placed an online order on Boot Barns website and they charged my card twice for one order. When I called to ask about the charge they informed me that one was pre authorization and the second charge was the actual order. Wow! So for $100 order they froze $200 out of my checking account. Doesn't get better than this Boot Barn in Wichita. Lots of parking out front and salespeople that don't bother you while you shop. Their boot selection is excellent and Wrangler jeans comes in all different styles and sizes, though I only wear Wrangler 13MWZs. Definitely worth going to Kansas and picking up a pair of real cowboy boots from a real cowboy store. read more

I ordered a pair of boots online on January 19th, 2018. They were back ordered 4 days out. That was ok. I got the confirmation email and was waiting to review the shipping confirmation. 5 days pass and haven't heard anything.. so I called. The girl who answered was pretty rude for being a customer service rep. I don't remember her name. Well anyway, she found my order and had told me that the boots are back ordered further out until Jan 31st-Feb 1st. So I waited. So today, February 1st I called to check on it again. This time they told me that the had to check with Ariat to see if the boots were still available. They would call me with any update. That time I talked to Mary (she was very friendly). So I waited. Next thing I know I'm receiving a email saying my order was canceled "canceled at customer request". So I called yet again. This time I finally got a answer... they stopped order because the boots aren't available. I had to call and ask why. Boot Barn isn't very good at keeping their customers updated on their orders. I would've ordered a different pair of boots that weren't back ordered but I didn't even get that opportunity. I probably won't order from them again because of the lack of communication. So sad they have the best prices. read more

they have great merchandise and descent prices but...their customer service leaves a lot to be desired! went in twice. over a couple of days and wasn't offered help either time. the last visit a worker on the floor asked a gentleman if he needed help finding anything, he replied "no thank you". she then walked right past me and kept going! It may be a "western" store and have cowboy hats and boots, but they are lacking the "western" friendly and welcome attitude. read more

Customer Service is horrible. DO NOT BUY ONLINE! First I was told that only one order was place (after getting two confirmation emails and different order numbers) then I get a back order notification. So I emailed to see if these could ship any sooner then October 8th since my current boots are ruining my feet and I need new boots desperately then I'm told that one pair should have on the 15th but that 2 pairs were ordered and the 2nd pair was what was on back order and I was asked if I meant to order 2 pairs. I replied and said no I didn't and that I have email correspondence from a week ago when this order was place about this. I did check my credit card and they already charged me for both sets of boots...so I am waiting for refunds on these. I finally called in and told them all of this and said I can go to state line tack and get these boots shipped today or tomorrow with 30% off not just 10% off plus $10 off and get a $35 gift certificate which helps me buy horse supplies. So techniquely I am only paying $187 for these boots instead of $207. They emailed tony lama to have these canceled just hope they get them canceled so I do not have to deal with these idiots again. read more
