If there was a way to leave 10 stars, I absolutely would!…read moreFor the second year in a row, Patrick has been beyond kickass! Here are just a few reasons why: 1. He's patient and helpful throughout the year with all of my crazy questions. 2. He knows his stuff. He also gave me some tips and suggestions from last year about this year, so I knew what to do for my business ahead of time and that's really paid off in spades! 3. He loves what he does, he's great at explaining everything and helps me think ahead to the next year's business and income related stuff so that I can be prepared and know what my options are. 4. I am always grateful to have him as a solid resource who is thorough as well as being an excellent communicator in all areas. SO GRATEFUL!

This is one of those companies that help you position yourself better on the job market if your…read moreemployer lets you go with a package. Essentially your former employer hires this company for a few months to help you not commit suicide due to unemployment stress lol . DBM refers to your situation as "transition period in your career". They provide various resources to help you find a new job: their web site with webinars, on-site seminars with other people in the same situation as you and a professional speaker; a consultant that will be working with you individually helping you out with resume, etc. I found their office in Mississauga was nicer. Overall experience was nice as they were willing to accommodate various requests when I was not happy with the program. Do ask if for whatever reason you feel you cannot utilize resources provided in full. The downside is: there are various free programs of a similar kind. They are not located in a nice downtown office like LHH/DBM program, they do not offer free tea and coffee but they still help you in a similar way as DBM/LHH does. So, if your employer is paying, go for it, otherwise look up free help.

I had not had to do a resume in at least 20 years. Found this company Google Search. I called and…read morespoke to Jeff. We went over what I was looking for, costs etc. There are 3 different "packages" to chose from. I told Jeff what my work history was and he suggested the appropriate package for me. I liked that he didn't try to push a more costly choice for me. He gave me the option of sending an existing resume to them or have a colleague call me on Monday (it was Friday afternoon). Since I needed to start from scratch, I suggested Monday morning at 6am (9am Toronto time). I was on the phone with Shawn F. for about 45 minutes. I advised him that I was in a bit of a rush to have my resume completed, as there were closing dates for the job I was applying for. Shawn had my resume done by Wednesday morning. I had forgotten to send my References, which he did for me within a couple of hours. I would highly recommend Resume Target..! A huge shout out to Shawn for your prompt service Ps: I got the job.. Having been with a single service provider for over a…read moredecade one tends to be vary of the new upstarts when it comes to an essential service like internet. I was curious on switching my ISP as the fees kept creeping up and even with my well negotiated contract I was looking around for a new service source as didn't know what options I would have when renewing. I will give dotto one kudos for being persistent as after they initially got my contact they kept following up and even made it an easy decision to switch to their service with the penalty from the current provider. The installation was smooth and was done within an hour. I have a somewhat complex setup at home with some legacy equipment blended in with new tech. There was a technical glitch with the hardware on the legacy tech that made me connect with their support line a few times. They are quite helpful and being a smaller operation you even get the people who have dealt with your issue before hand. Believe me it's a big time saver not having to explain the issue again and again. With a few adjustments and troubleshooting on both ends I am satisfied with the service I have. I will update in the long run but so far a solid service. Update for long term usage. It has almost been a year and the service and support have been rock solid. A rarity IMO for the service industry in Canada. I am talking about no service calls requests after the initial issues, billing. The tech support went out of their way to help me out with a tech issue I was having initially. Updating to a 5 star rating (rare feat)

THE best internet provider in Toronto PERIOD I've been with…read morethem for several years and I have never had a single problem. They have extremely efficient and pleasant personnel and the most reliable internet service I've ever had, with reasonable prices (that never get jacked) to boot....kind of the opposite from the ratbastard telcos you're used to. I cannot recommend them highly enough and if you're fortunate to be in an area/building where their service is available, you'll be sorry if you don't sign on.

In Fashion has been in business for over 15 years and you have probably never heard of them before…read more The business is predominantly a wholesaler selling directly to wedding and clothing rental businesses and buyers for movie sets. They specialize in all sorts of hats, fascinators, jewelry and beads. The prices are great and probably the best value you'll find in the city. The owner imports his products, and he often adjusts the designs to improve the quality and owns his moulds. However, shipping costs have increased so much that he has to increase the number of days he works. I was there for a fascinator, and there is a TON of variety at such a reasonable price, better than what you may find on Amazon. You can take out the clip and slip on a headband instead if you want. If you're looking for a hat, come here first! I'll probably come back here again if I'm in the look out for a beach hat. A few neighbouring shops have closed during the pandemic. The owner told me he has only one year left on the lease, depending on how sales go this year, he may also decide to leave the business. He does say it in a more positive tone mentioning how sometimes a change/adapting is needed. If you're in the market for some accessories for your event, vacation or even a hat, visit them. You might have to call or message first to let him know you're coming. The doors aren't always open to the public. The owner is super nice and approachable so don't be shy.

If I could give zero stars here I would. I'm so disappointed in the service I'm literally in tears…read more Tears of anger. If you want your cleaners to show up late, leave spills on your new hardwood floors, leave toilet bowls full of stains, leave early and to top it off blame your Dad for supervising, these are the perfect cleaners for you! I walk by this cleaning service everyday at lunch and thought why not give these people a try at my new house after renovations are done? If you're thinking the same thing, DON'T! Let me begin by telling you that the cleaning appointmemt started with the second cleaner being 2 hours late. And although the job was supposed to be for 2 cleaners 4 to 5 hours each, I received cleaning service for 4 hours from the first cleaner who was on time, and only 2 hours from the late one. You do the math on that one. You'd say to me that's alright as long as the place is spotless! But boy was I wrong about these "professional" cleaners. This can't even be classified as superficial surface clean job. They left stains in the toilet bowls, bath tubs and laundry sink that even the naked eye can tell you it was not clean. They left spills on new hard wood floors and didn't bother wiping them up. When my Dad told then to wipe it and to be more careful they blamed my Dad for supervising the cleaning process too closely. I'm speechless. I've never heard of cleaners who would leave early and say the job is done when clearly it is not. Most of all, apparently this was all because my Dad was supervising. I guess it is unreasonable to be allowed to stay in your own house while it's being cleaned, or it must be ridiculous to make requests about cleaning up spills and comment over careless mistakes, and if you're not satisfied with the job it is up to you to hold the cleaners hostage in the house because once you let them go you're basically saying job well done! Consider yourselves warned. I hope you never have to go through what we had to go through. I hope we can all find honest punctual cleaners who are professional. Most importantly, I hope when you paid to get your toilet bowls cleaned, they don't look like the public toilet that hasn't been cleaned for years. Good luck people!!!
