Love this place. I rarely write a review for any franchise companies. I love this place and the customer service is excellent. Very clean.

I don't remember what Gong Cha used to be. I want to say that it was Telus, but the store can't tell us if I'm right... haha. Anyway, this store is located at SmartCentres Stouffville. It's across from Canadian Tire. This bubble tea store is between a dental clinic and Subway. I have never had a problem finding a parking spot around here. I walked into Gong Cha. I was the only customer. There was a nice man who said hi. He wasn't all that chatty, but was competent and pleasant. I immediately saw croffles on the menu. I love them. I knew that I wanted one. Before walking into the store, I noticed the daily specials. The Thursday special is the honeydew milk tea. It seemed perfect. I ordered a medium, with no sugar and less ice. I also got coconut jelly. The payment machine was sluggish. The man had to reboot it. Once it was done rebooting, I was able to pay with my debit card. I tapped and all went well. He made my bubble tea first. It looked so cheerful. It was green with coconut jelly. I waited patiently for my croffle. He made it in the kitchen area, away from the bubble tea preparation area. I could smell yumminess. I was excited and quietly drooling. I went with a regular croffle with a light dusting of sugar. I like starting simple to begin with. It was packed in a recyclable box. I loved it. I thanked the man for everything and happily walked out with my goodies. In my car, I immediately had the croffle. It came on a stick, which made eating this crispy, hot-off-the-waffle-griddle perfect. It was buttery, flaky, and yummy. It was slightly sweet, which I thoroughly appreciated. I loved it. I want more! I had my honeydew milk tea after dinner as a dessert treat. It was delicious. Honeydew is slightly sweet to begin with. Going with no sugar worked well, especially with the added coconut jelly. The milk made it creamy. This drink truly felt like a dessert drink to me, minus the sugar high. It may be my new favourite bubble tea variety. Whitchurch-Stouffville has lacked a bubble tea joint for years. It's nice that it finally has a decent one. I'll be back for more bubble tea and croffles. It also has waffles that I'd love to try, too. (457)

Service was very fast but staff was not the most friendly, which is fine haha…read more We ordered a pearl milk tea and overall the drink was overly milky and we could not taste any tea. Perhaps if it was steeped a bit longer maybe. The tapioca was a bit undercooked and hard unlike other places but not a deal breaker.

KALE BOOST TEA - 9.99 + normal ice + light sugar + jasmine green tea + with chia seed I was hesitant to order this drink because paying for a vegetable-based tea sounded questionable, but my cousin insisted it was refreshing. Surprisingly, there was none of the bitterness I expected from kale, and it paired really well with the jasmine green tea. I loved the chia seeds topping, and hopefully it will help with my bowel movements after all the heavy foods I've been eating this past week. My cousin ordered the limited tiramisu milk tea, which HEYTEA is currently offering in collaboration with Pop Mart. We expected it to be fun, but it ended up being fun AND genuinely good. The coffee notes blended nicely with the milk tea, and it wasn't overly sweet or heavy. Overall, this was a solid stop, and I'm glad I got to enjoy something light and refreshing after stuffing myself with dim sum nearby.

When they had the BOGO deal on acai bowls, I tried all the flavors with the exception of the peanut butter. Looks small at first but trust me, it is plenty! Almost difficult to finish near the end. I take it without yogurt, so it ends up being lactose-free and I still get the oat beverage to get the cream part. I remembered this store on Markham Road, just south of 14th Avenue. It's next to Kung Fu Tea, near the Shoppers Drug Mart that serves as one of the anchors of this plaza. I decided to check it out. I came here after work last Wednesday. I had no problem finding a parking spot at around 8 pm. I backed into a spot and walked over. There was a male customer talking with the lone female staffer. He was having problem scanning his receipt with the Booster Juice app. I'm assuming that he was trying to get points credited to his account. It seemed like quite a straightforward task, but it was challenging for him. I probably waited a good five minutes before this woman came over to me. I'm patient. No biggie. I ordered the orange 'n' cream without yogurt. She said, almost out of protest and disgust, that my drink would be thinner. Um, I know. I said that I always order it this way. I got my rewards QR code scanned from the Booster Juice app to get points. I then paid with a debit card. Done! Well, my drink took a good ten minutes to prepare. It seemed extensive. I saw her trying to squeeze oranges with more force than necessary. Were they frozen?! It seemed too labour-intensive. I almost wanted to try making this drink at home in my blender that pulverizes everything effortlessly and try to forget this image of her painfully making my drink. I finally got my drink. I thanked her. I got a paper straw and left the store. I then sipped my drink as I drove home after a long day. I loved this drink. It tasted so good. It was like a creamsicle, but in a drinkable format. I still crave it so much. It's awesome. I hope it never comes off the menu. This drink comes in a single size. It's easy to order. However, part of me wants an entire vat of this stuff. I like the Warden-Highway 7 location better. This one requires a longer wait for my lone drink. A bit of judgment on making a drink lactose-free was odd. (465)

They use the highest quality organic fruits and vegetables and are most famous for their cold-pressed juices. Instead of getting a cold-pressed juice, I decided to get one of their açai bowls. Here's my rundown: Food There were three açai bowls to choose from - classic, beauty, and soul. I got the beauty açai bowl which had the açai, avocado, coconut oil, and almond milk blend topped with bananas, granola, coconut flakes and fresh strawberries. The açai blend was smooth and rich in flavour while the fresh fruit and oats made for great flavours and textures. It was a very refreshing treat to get and had the perfect balance between all ingredients. Atmosphere Can't really comment on the atmosphere here because the store is quite small and has minimal seating. There were about 4 high chairs to sit but it's more meant to be used while you're waiting for your drinks or bowls. It's small like most downtown cafés and this place is more so for those grab and go type of people. Service Service was really friendly and the employee was helpful in helping me make a decision about the type of bowl to get. No complaints here; they were really inviting and patient with my indecisiveness. Price I paid $10 for the açai bowl! A little pricy but you're paying for quality organic food here so it's worth every dollar. Verdict Refresh is indeed a refreshing experience has they use only the finest organic fruits to make their products. I'm excited to return here to try their juices and other açai bowls. Definitely worth a try if you're roaming around downtown Guelph. A well-deserved 5/5 experience!
