While searching for an unfamiliar address in Rockwell, I ended up far from home. However, realizing that my gas gauge was nearly empty, I decided to find my way back home on Highway 150 Salisbury, North Carolina. Coincidently, I could not find an open gas station in sight! I began to panic as my tank was pinging a loud warning to refill. There was an avalanche of snow on both sides of the shoulder. Not to mention a busy two-lane dangerous highway. I quickly thought of pulling into Impact to ask if I could get a little gas to tide me over to the next gas station (over 2 miles away.)
