From helping to pin the groom's boutineer to carrying the bride's grandma's plate back to her table at dinner they went above and beyond what you'd expect from a DJ... not to mention they kept the entire crowd on the dance floor until the last song!! We received so many compliments on them from our wedding guests and can't recommend them enough.

She was correct, anyone looking for a DJ Service that gives you everything you ask for and more would be foolish to go with another service. We had the time of our life, Jane and Rodney are so down to earth and talk about organized.....OMG!! 5 Stars, way more than that is needed for Jane and Rodney! Thank You to both of You for Your Help, and the wonderful Music that you played for us. You both have made an impression, on everyone who was there not just Lela and me.

We didn't realize that there was one nearby in Ottawa, so we picked up the phone and we called Obsidian Events. We were greeted by Anthony over the phone who went through all the packages and options he had for us. We chose the option for a couple of hours and our guests were able to have their photos sends to their phone's directly. Our guests really enjoyed everything and they were the true stars of the show. Thank you to obsidian events for an unforgettable time I can't wait to tell others about this! Highly recommend!

Not only did she allow us the freedom to choose any songs we wanted played during the ceremony/cocktail hour/dinner/reception but she also mixed in a lot of songs she knew would keep people on the dance floor. Deena was such a pleasure to work with and was very organized making the day run as smooth as possible. After the wedding, we received so many compliments from our guests on the music choice and how much fun people had on the dance floor. I would recommend Deena to anyone hosting an event, we would use her again as our MC/DJ in a heartbeat!

Just 10 minutes south of Ottawa in Fall River Township you will this great little Hall for rent…read more My family has rented the hall for gatherings in the past, My 1st rental (of many more to come) was for my daughters Golden 13th birthday. The Hall rental is $50.00 for a non resident, comes with a small kitchen area, sadly the kitchen only has two stove top burners and no oven so massive catering is going to be hard to do on site, numerous tables chairs and everything you need to entertain around 50 guests. We were lucky to have the hall on a nice day I brought alone a youth football & Frisbee that was all it took for the kids to have a blast on the near one acre yard on the property. Why only four stars you might ask? Well the kitchen only have two burners, no oven & the small amount of outlets (bring an extension cord people) are just enough to leave you wanting just a little bit more. Knowing what I am getting my self into & for the price this place will be my event home for some time to come.

It was a last minute booking (about a…read moreweek before the event) and everyone was super accommodating and worked quickly to make sure that everything was set and ready. We even paid the extra fee to make sure we got the CD with all of the prints saved on it. It was wonderful! The only drawback that we had was that we had a few younger children (3-5 years-old) who were involved in the wedding and excited about the photo booth that didn't get to have such a great experience. My twin nieces were treated a bit rudely at times and kept asking me why the ladies were being mean. With that one exception, everything else was perfect! I would definitely book them again, but probably only if it was a child free event.

Party Mates recommended the chef come 1 hour early to start prepping the food and grill. Party Mates also recommended 4 waitresses and 2 bartenders. This was spot on. The waitresses set up the food, cleaned up, asked my guest if they needed anything. All I have to say is WOW my wife did not have to do one thing. We have already booked another end of summer party, already knowing we have nothing to do but enjoy our guests. Thank you Jo Ann Party Mates.
