Been an on-and-off LA Fitness member for over a year now, and after reading literally thousands of…read morereviews across Yelp, Google, Reddit, and everywhere else, here's the honest, no-BS summary that matches what pretty much everyone says: It's the ultimate "you get what you pay for" gym. For the price (still one of the cheapest national chains with month-to-month options), you get a ridiculous amount of locations, decent equipment variety, a pool, basketball courts, and free group classes. If you just want to show up, lift, do some cardio, maybe swim or shoot hoops, and leave, it does the job better than most places in this price range. Off-peak hours can actually feel halfway decent plenty of machines, shorter waits, and the vibe is tolerable. Now the part literally everyone complains about (because it's true): Cleanliness is a coin flip. Some days it's fine, other days the locker room smells like regret and the equipment is sticky. Stuff breaks and stays broken forever saunas, hot tubs, half the cable machines, you name it. Towel service? Good luck. Bring your own or prepare to air-dry. Staff ranges from genuinely cool humans to people who act like you're bothering them by existing. Canceling or fixing billing issues? People write horror stories that could be Netflix documentaries. Read the contract twice and screenshot everything. Bottom line: If your expectations are "affordable big-box gym with tons of locations and I'm not a neat freak," you'll be perfectly happy and probably give it 4 stars. If you want spotless, high-end, white-glove service, you're shopping in the wrong aisle go pay triple for Equinox or Lifetime. For the money, it's still a solid 3 stars. Wipe down your own stuff, go at weird hours, and you'll survive just fine. Millions of us do.

I simply thought from looking at this gym as I passed by... it's gotta be better than the ratings…read moreposted... NOPE---where are the wipes to clean equipment between uses and to cap it all off---hot water seems like a reasonable expectation??? Next visit I will head to the new Crunch fitness that I saw on social media opening 3/31/26. This place is expansive but gross.

This is an awesome facility and I truly enjoy spending time there. There's something for everyone no matter what your fitness goals are-- during my time as a member I've gone from "taking a break" from working out and doing a lot of yoga/relaxing and now currently getting back into a bodybuilding program. The gym offers a variety of equipment and I never have to improvise due to lack of equipment. I might be staying the obvious here, but if you are into powerlifting, I would probably go elsewhere. The cardio machines are brand new and really nice. The actual place itself is very clean. I feel totally comfortable showering in the locker room and they have everything you need- towels, body wash, lotion, razors, etc. The outdoor pool is really pretty and nice to relax at after a workout. Staff is super nice and helpful. I have yet to buy any food from the cafe but it looks good. Definitely some good options if you're in a bind or spending a long time there. I will gladly pay the extra $ to train in a clean and peaceful gym.

I simply cannot believe the decisions made for their renovation. I understand renovations were needed as the gym they previously purchased and renamed, did need several cosmetic updates. However, whoever made the decisions for this specific location seriously is tone deaf, and should not be put in charge of such decisions in the future. Not to mention, the air conditioning still stops working randomly, the showers are not open for use, can't use the court because of construction, several classes unavailable. And they are still charging full price. The only silver lining, and also the only reason I left two stars, is because the lifting area is still nicely maintained. And honestly, after seeing what they chose to do with the basketball courts, I will no longer be coming to this location. Removal of the full court NBA sized court with all the side baskets will affect their membership numbers more than they realize. This location has long been a legendary court where high-level players and their training staff and friends would frequent. Especially over the summer. Now it's been downsized to a LA Fitness style court. Also, considering how much it cost nowadays to replace of hardwood basketball court, if they ever chose to go back on their decision, it would cost them triple. Absolutely bonehead move by whoever signed off on this. Whoever made this decision, does not understand the local community and their desires. Furthermore, it's not like they were short on space. There's plenty of room in this massive gym to have turf placed without cutting up the bball floor. Not to mention, the other nearest lifetime in Palm Beacch Gardens only has Pickleball courts. So basically, if you are a basketball player, Life Time doesn't really care about you. Such an absolute shame. Local community that is affected by this will find alternate locations. Personally, I will be going to the equinox in West Palm. Feel free to include a boring corporate response below this review, but understand that no matter what you say, you made a terrible decision which was not " in the best interest of the community". I hate how so many things nowadays are made worse by someone sitting behind a desk signing off on bad ideas. Well, understand that now people who used to drive over an hour to come use this gym will find other places to go.

When I was 15 years old a mass shooting occurred at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, which I only lived about 10 minutes away from and tragically, 17 students and teachers died. Needless to say this devastated the community, including the soccer community. One of the victims, Alyssa Alhadeff and I used to play together on the Miramar Fields. While it had been many years since I had seen her, losing her in such a cruel and senseless way definitely affected me and my my team. The game that we played here took place a few days after the shooting. Everyone in the community was in a very bad place mentally, but before the game we did a moment of silence, and read off every name that we lost. We taped Alyssa's number on our wrists and cleats. It was a touching moment in such a dark time, and I believe I will remember it the rest of my life.

It even has netted practice areas for working on your swing. :) At night, these fields are very nicely lit! There are also soccer fields. PARKING LOT: Large parking lot with lots of spaces for game nights at the park. 4TH OF JULY: A great location to celebrate and enjoy fireworks! There was a DJ, food trucks and children's inflatables. With how big the park is, it was easy to find a spot that was not crowded to see the fireworks show. I was also impressed at the organized shuttle service which brought people back and forth to the overflow parking lots. Lastly, there is a beautiful lake, great paths and an adventure playground! Enjoy this great sports facility!

If you go to any indoor soccer facility in Miami, you might just find the opposite of that - guys running around with Coronas or BangBros filming their latest flick for the Porn industry - Sounds familiar, eh? However, far from Miami-Dade County, this indoor soccer facility attracts the opposite of what Miami's soccer community has to offer, and the concepts from a business standpoint seem very enthusiastic. All of which include: Two Turf Soccer Fields: Artificial grass (bring turf and/or indoor shoes, if you don't have any of the two, running shoes are just fine). Healthy Bar: This is where all the kids run and enjoy the healthiness of High Fructose Corn Syrup. Lounge Area: Watch games, discuss and debate with other footies. The Futbol Club Store: Get your gear and get back into the field! Locker Rooms: onsite for both Men and Women The rate to play is what really makes this place a bargain, though. For just $8, you get to play for a full two-hours! Try getting a deal like that in Miami and you'll be lucky if you don't get sent to Guantanamo. Indeed, if you're wondering about the leagues, this place is dynamic as it gets. The Futbol Club doesn't discriminate, they have leagues for kids, men, women, and even a 'Restaurant League'(?) The prices are working-class friendly, and the guys who work their are very helpful; despite from what other reviews seem to claim. So, if you want to have loads of fun and play a good game of soccer, go to The Futbol Club!

(As of right now) The ceiling is a little low for my taste, hopefully they use a heavy ball. (Again, not sure) This place has A LOT of potential. Some cosmetic stuff is the only things it's missing. Oh, they need to work on their advertising on their website: I went for a thursday night pickup game at 8pm for $8/per person, and I showed up a bit late, but they had nothing for me. It's advertised not to worry about showing up late. I got there and the guy tried to Up sell me a $30 uniform (that did look very nice) and a tournament to register as an individual player for $70 and yada yada... OK. I know the guy is running a business, but soccer players shouldn't hustle each other. I would imagine that losing one soccer player is inconsequential to some. However, how do you know that the person you are letting out that door doesn't bring you more business? You gotta have something for me other than a sales pitch!!! The staff is extremely friendly. Oh, and very knowledgeable about their products! The WIFI has a poor signal (otherwise known as didn't work). This place has all the bells and whistles. (restrooms, lockers, healthbar?, etc.) If you have the time, and you get the itch to play you should definitley check this place out. (....and cross your fingers)
