A very pleasant girl took our order for tea and some eats. Unfortunately with us driving we had to leave the Guinness but it looked nice! The inside of the pub is oldworlde and the back section of the pub is styled like an old cottage with open heart and armchairs by the fire. We were smitten with "the cottage" and all the antiques and memorabilia on the wall. Wished I could have stayed the evening. Nice pub and would like to try it for a session in the future.

Always stop in Longford Town, on the way to Mayo, for breakfast and head straight to PV's Bar. They…read moredo a great hearty Irish breakfast and it's worth stopping for. Stopped last weekend but had just missed breakfast so had soup instead. Again very popular with the locals who were coming in to get dinners. Plenty of daily papers were left scattered around so a good place to have a free read with you pint or pot of tea :-)
