We walked in and were immediately greeted by the owner's mother. She was absolutely lovely and I really enjoyed our conversation about the shop and family. The store is soooooo cute. It is well-stocked with an amazing selection. You can get everything from stickers to greeting cards to toys and puzzles (and so much more!!) here. I love that they have books for every age group (adults included). While your kiddo is picking out a cute Where's Waldo book, you can grab one of Emily Henry's fantastic books. Win-win for everyone. There is a bargain book section in the back left corner of the store that has really great deals on books too- so be sure to check that out. My oldest (22) purchased a book and my youngest (5) got the cutest stuffed cow made from recycled material. We can't wait to come back next time we are in town and I'm sure they'll be seeing a lot of my oldest daughter over the next year (lol).

I like to purchase craft items, dried flowers, baskets, etc. The past four times I've gone to the local one have been disappointing. There is no one in the store. It's vacant. I can walk right up to the cash register. The employees are not friendly at all. They used to be! What do I equate this to? They have brought in Bed Bath & Beyond junk. They have merged it into the store, throughout the entire store. Aisles are bare. This particular HL looks more like a Big Lot store. It is very disappointing to myself and my friends who also shop there. I asked the price of an item because it was not within my reach. The employee rolled her eyes; it was a big deal for her to obtain the price for me. I just hope this is a glitch in their system, but I'm afraid it's not.

There are rows and rows of long bins and you literally have to dig for the deals. First first timers it can be overwhelming so here's what to know : - once you enter grab a blue bag and start shopping ! - most purses aren't allowed . If it's clear or tiny they may let you bring it in but otherwise leave it in the car. -you can't open boxes at the bins . There may be boxes that you can't tell what is inside - if you want to have it opened you have to take it to the box counter and an employee will open it . Afterwards they will seal it back and give it to you to purchase or place behind the counter if you don't want it . -the Amazon app can be helpful ! If you have the Amazon app on your phone you can sometimes scan the barcodes on the boxes and bagged items to view the official Amazon listing . You can then see clearly what the item is , the price it retails for on Amazon and read reviews. This doesn't always work though because the bintime employees place new upc stickers over the original ones which aren't recognized by Amazon . - disposable gloves are great to wear here. You will be digging through things and touching lots of stuff so I always like to wear disposable gloves I can toss once I leave . -Saturday is the most expensive and busiest day ($5) because the most coveted items are dropped on this day . -right now 50 cent day is Wednesday. It's worth going to . I snagged a bunch of Aveda and Redken hair products as well as high end face products for 50 cents . It can often be just as busy as Saturday. - if you arrive before they open there will be a line . - if you are buying food make sure to check the expiration as they don't . -there's another section of the store called the "deal den" with a different selection of what they consider "premium items" priced higher than the bins. This kinda place is a once or twice a year visit for me . Other people seem to go every weekend and they seem more critical . But for me and my minimal visits , it's a fun time ! It can be chaotic and somewhat mentally exhausting but the adrenaline rush is real when you find a deal ! Have fun !

They were currently in the middle of one of their monthly Saturday gaming tournaments with 25+ monitors all being used, pizza and plenty of gamers from all over. I came upon this place which is at the end of the strip mall that has TSC Tractor Supply Co, Deal…read moreMart and a few others, really old beat up parking lot, etc . . However, I saw some crafts outside the door and a sign that said Unique and Chic so decided to walk inside. I'm so glad that I did because I love seeing creative, artistic, crafts . . . This is a collection of independent vendors so you have to walk and check each one out. One of the first vendor had metal one word signs on wood, some with hooks to hang coat/hat/etc. Others had adorable outfits -- Tiger fans may want to look at the next booth. There were painted furniture with Bible verses on them, others had home decor. Jewelry, and I happen to come across at the back, a workshop that just finished. A couple women had just completed painting on wooden piece through Southernhomemade and will now be able to hang up for the Christmas season. You can book your own party with them. The biggest challenge is since these are all independent vendors who don't hang by their booth, one can peruse and if want to purchase an item or two, there was an employee at the cash register.
