Working with Julian Nacol over the past three years was truly one of the best decisions I could…read morehave made during a very difficult and stressful legal battle with some bad actors in my HOA. From the very beginning, Julian impressed me with his deep expertise in HOA law, his strategic thinking, and above all, his integrity. He fought hard for me and ultimately helped secure a settlement that exceeded my expectations and made the entire legal ordeal worthwhile. His motions and briefs were exceptionally well-written, and in the courtroom, he was brilliant -- quick on his feet, creative, and completely in command. And beyond being an amazing attorney, Julian was genuinely kind, honest, and dependable. He always returned my calls quickly, kept me updated, and made me feel like I wasn't going through it alone. His staff and team were just as wonderful -- professional, supportive, and clearly proud to work with him. Since my case wrapped up, I've recommended The Nacol Law Firm to several friends and colleagues, and they've all had the same outstanding experience. If you're facing a tough HOA situation (or any legal challenge), you absolutely want Julian Nacol in your corner. I couldn't recommend him more highly - you will be in the best possible hands!

Julian repeatedly lied to me about his intended strategy after we hired for a civil fraud case…read moreinvolving real estate. Julian joked with co-counsel John Montgomery about the judge being "senile" and making "legally impossible rulings" Strange he didn't report judge as he's ethically required too. He failed to protect me as his client and refused to sue a court reporter he knows removed most of his objections from trial transcript. Told me suing for the accurate trial transcript would get us no where. This is after he advised me to spend 45k on a appellate lawyer he recommended. How could we prevail on appeal without an accurate trial transcript. We lost on appeal due to the actions of the trial attorney and his failure to preserve the record with appropriate objections. We paid this attorney close to 150k and he refused to address the corruption in Erath county. I suspect it has something to do with the judge stopping trial day 3 and calling attorneys to chambers. He would not tell me what was discussed during the hour he was in judges chambers. Hired Julian for separate issuing involving a bogus defamation case where he convinced me he would get it dropped. He was wrong.. spent another 15k and he refused to formally request discovery in almost a year of telling me he would do so. Then advised me to go to trial without a single bit of discovery. At that point I believed he was intentionally attempting to set me up and sabotage me. He fired me when I confronted him about the "gas lighting" and lies he had told throughout the lengthy 4 year relationship. He non suited my co-plaintiff in our civil trial 30 days prior to trial and told him "you can not be held financially responsible" funny thing.. judge added plaintiff back to suit day of trial and he just paid the 90k judgement (we lost) Julian never wrote a letter to this plaintiff or informed him that judge had added him back. No phone call, no letter, no email. He was done with him once he was non suited. Julian tried to get me to settle 5 days prior to trail and take a 3/4 million dollar loss. Tried to convince me to sell our property back to the fraudsters for that same price we purchased for 3 years prior. No regard for the fact the property value had more then doubled and we had spent 75k out of pocket to improve land. I had to send him an email and demand he stop trying to get me to sell back at 330k when appraisal was over 600k. Lawyers have an ethical responsibility to report malpractice and ethical issues. Julian and Natalie Kohler joked during our mediation that Mackenzie Pack "was out of control and getting away with inappropriate conduct". Natalie Kohler herself spoke candidly that she didn't know why Mackenzie was getting away with her behavior. During our mediation Natalie Kohler also stated "we figured the money is running out and that's why Mr Meek non suited himself". I was not made aware he would be removed from lawsuit until it was done. It was a sneak attack by my own attorney and left me heavily prejudiced during the trial 30 days later. All details and documents will be made

DO NOT USE HERRIN LAW THEY WANT YOUR MONEY WITHOUT SERVICE…read more Think twice before using Herrin Law, PLLC. We have not hired them yet because he informed us that we needed to do an assessment/evaluation which was $500.00. After 2 weeks of send them documents in their junk portal not once but twice and the documents would get rejected for one reason or another. (Error1) Then they send use this: Our primary goal is to provide Jennifer and her spouse with a comprehensive evaluation of their financial situation to determine the feasibility of a Chapter 13 bankruptcy.......Please keep in mind I do not know a Jennifer and that is not my wifes name (Error2) Then when we had enough and requested a refund for not every getting an assessment/evaluation this is what we got. Please keep in mind that he call customer service a chargable service, talking with an atty a chargable service, talking with legal assistant a chargable service.....I call it customer service to retain a customer....... We have reviewed your refund request and would like to clarify a few important points. As clearly stated in the Engagement Agreement that you signed, the legal fee is earned upon receipt and is non-refundable. For this reason, we are unable to grant your request for a refund. We also respectfully dispute your statement that "no service has been rendered." Since the start of your engagement, the following services have been provided: - You have had two phone conferences with the attorney regarding your case. - Our legal assistants have actively worked on your file, including monitoring your progress and following up on the documents requested for your bankruptcy evaluation. - Our customer service team has assisted you during multiple phone calls to address your questions and concerns. The delay in moving your case forward was not due to a lack of service, but rather because several documents uploaded to the portal were corrupted, and some required documents remain missing, which has prevented us from completing the evaluation at this time. At the end of the day I called another Atty and had an evaluation on the call and they did not ask for a dime. I talk to them 3 more times and not once did they ask for money.

They did no meaningful work and failed to meet any of their own deadlines, severely worsening my situation. I sued them for my retainer back, and they failed to show up even to defend themselves! They appealed verdicts several times, claiming that they missed deadlines because... get this...they claimed that they don't check their mail regularly! After wasting two and half years and appealing several Court verdicts they were denied further appeals, yet Kunal still refused to return my money. In the end I had to get a Writ of Execution and send Dallas County Constables TO HIS HOUSE WITH ORDERS TO EMPTY IT and sell everything to pay the judgment before this utterly amoral and unethical embarrassment to the legal profession finally paid up. Hiring Kunal or his firm will be the worst mistake that you ever make, see attached photo of the check I finally received last week from Dallas County, which only happened after Kunal had to explain to his wife and children how he screwed over his own client, BEGGING to be allowed to pay in the end rather than have his family's belongings seized and sold.
