Each week was a new lesson on getting to know my body before, during and after receiving deeply informed and profoundly respectful care restructuring. I genuinely do feel like a car that has finally been to a mechanic, and also has learned mechanisms for driving the car in ways that will reduce the likelihood of returning someday in such bad shape - and oh, boy, was I in rough shape. I now feel motivated to strengthen and care for my body in ways that required forcing myself before this series. I cannot recommend this highly enough - and to clarify, this is not massage where it feels lovely for the hour and shortly thereafter, but does not provide long-term relief. That is like popping out the dents of the car... with this work, while sometimes uncomfortable, I have seen a reduction in all of my chronic conditions and hear the same from my friends who have done this as well. I let her know that my main goal was a relaxing, feel-good massage since I was on vacation but also that I was tight in my upper back and shoulders. I've been disappointed with several other massage therapists giving only 45-50 min of massage during hour long sessions but Kelly gave 60+ min of massage.
