This makes for a truly interesting visit. I have never experienced such a love for art and sense of community among fellow artists. It was a truly inspirational visit. This festival is supported by the local businesses and brings many visitors to the town. We visited this event yesterday to enjoy this annual attraction, as we've had it bookmarked for a while now. It was very relaxing to be able to park our vehicle, and to walk the downtown area and checkout all of the awesome types of artworks that was on display for competition and for purchase. The ArtFields is a charitable program and event sponsored by Lake City Creative Alliance, which is a federally-recognized Section 501(c)(3) organization located in Lake City, South Carolina. Its mission is to enhance the area schools and greater community through both creative and audience development by fostering a culturally-rich environment, connecting our communities through the arts, integrating arts into the education system, and serving as the lead in cultivating and advancing our region's creative economy.
