I LOVE THIS PLACE. They have a wide collection of books, movies, music, stickers, posters, I love…read moreit. The employees there are always so nice and helpful, their cafe has great drinks and treats (my personal favorite is their rose chai with pistachio milk, have to buy it every time) they are my local book store so it's very convenient if I want to add more books to my tbr corner . The only downside is they don't have all the books in the world, the books and music that are available are the only ones available. But that's totally fine because you can always browse and discover more authors and genres that they have available. 11/10 will recommend this place, it's like my very own heaven. AND TIP YOUR BARISTAS!!!

Air-conditioned! Thankfully, considering the intense heat on this side of FL…read more Good stock - a good selection of new and used books and vinyl. Definitely have everything a new collector might want but may not have the deep cuts a long-time collector (like me) would be looking to purchase. Prices - a tad high. But I expected that considering I'm in a metropolitan area. Their rent is probably super high, but I don't mind paying an extra $2-3 per book to keep an independent store open. Regarding those deep cuts: - I did find some authors that I think are often overlooked, including Richard K. Morgan, Chuck Tingle, and Ann Leckie. - I was saddened to see that there was no Ronald Malfi in stock, which I find to be a mainstay in horror. - There was no Between the Buried and Me vinyl in stock, which saddens me due to concert tonight (that's why I drove all the way to this coast). Rating - 4.2/5.0

I had a desperate need for a local gift for a friend and The Far Forest was my last hope. And if…read moreyou've spotted my five stars... spoiler alert... I found exactly what I needed and more. A coffee table book of artworks in Ybor City for my friend who loves the area. In great condition and reasonably priced. Awesome. And then I spotted two science fiction books for me that are going onto my shelves. I also bought a bookplate that was in a display at the counter. Eek, $15. But worth it to customize my gift which the very nice young lady put into a bag with some tissue paper to make "gift". Awesome service. Fabulous stuff and that's just the books. There's also all sorts of other vintage and unique antique items on sale. Definite opportunity for gifts and light decor. [Round number review 15800 overall - 1380 in Florida - 1304 of 2021.]

I've been into the shop a couple times; the first time was in their opening week. The owner (I'm…read morenot sure of her name) is so friendly and really loves her collection. This past Shop Small Saturday, I visited with 4 other people and her shop was (safely) bustling. I found a record for $1 outside and I did not have any cash - instead of having me use my card for a buck, she gave me the record for free. These types of small things make people come back and bring other people with them. This is a gem of a store (located just a couple blocks from where I used to live) in Seminole Heights. Check it out and spend some time finding some cool vintage treasures like books, records and furniture.

Pancakes. Oh my. We ordered them to share between the four of us and were all quiet as we enjoyed them. That is a feat with us. We are loud. Grits and bacon? Wow. They were done well with bacon that wasn't soggy. I loved it all. 24.09.2026

We walked in on what I think was the back side, and welcoming us was the cutest book store. We browsed around before walking through and seeing the courtyard area and maybe a candle bar and another area that had gorgeous decor near the hostess area. There was also the chicest Champagne Bar, which is perfect for Instagram photos for the photogenic people while you wait. We didn't have reservations, but the wait was only 30 mins or so, so we walked to the University's campus across the street, which was interesting too, but that's for another post. I received a text once my table was ready. I ordered the breakfast taco's and substituted the meat for grilled chicken. My friend ordered the Simply Breakfast Sandwich and substituted grilled chicken, too. The tacos were enormous. They were enough to keep me full the rest of the day. (Maybe it was all the protein). When I say everything was delicious and seasoned to perfection, you didn't need an ounce of additional seasoning. The crispy potatoes were some of the best potatoes I've had as well. I wanted the cinnamon, which was on a special menu for that day, but opted not to get it since my waistline expands at the thought of food! You also have to know that I didn't stop eating there though because I'm a foodie! Lol. Most of the people there were dressed Friday business casual and/or chic. I was fresh off the plane from an early morning flight, but felt comfortable in my attire. Back to this food though...I will definitely be back to Oxford Exchange to try more of the menu when I'm in the area. I overheard the people at the table next to me talking about how good their food was, too! So if you're in the area, don't think twice about going, just go.
