I can't believe I didn't leave a review for these guys! Well here it is! It's been a year since we had them out to install gates for the house. The proposal process was SUPER easy- everything was done through email and the office person is so fast with responses! They actually had a project nearby so they scheduled a time to come over to actually take a look as the area by the stairs in our house is a bit funky but they were able to come through and make the space work and it looks nice! They give you the option of black or white and another nice feature of these gates is that they swing shut. Meaning when you open the gates to get through you don't have to close it behind you as the gate will swing shut automatically. Really smart design. Great service and product all around! This company blew me away. Let's be real for a second... most companies now a days are only in it for the money. There aren't a lot of people out there who genuinely want to help people. I was googling around to find a professional to install a dog gate for us. The space between my kitchen and the living room was a difficult place to put a gate. It was diagonal and just awkward. Two men came and installed the gate right away. Same day. And it only took them like 15 mins to install. They were so friendly and they just made the whole experience so amazing and easy. I Found Boo Boo busters through a mommy facebook group. We had just moved and with both my husband and my busy work schedules, it was hard to set aside time to research and buy the material to childproof and the time to do the handiwork. We both are also not very handy. From start to finish, they are very organized and professional. You can go online and fill out a form on all the things you need done and they'll provide an estimate right away. On the day of, the childproofer secured a bookshelf, dresser, tv stand, anchored the tv, installed cabinet and dresser drawer latches, and replaced all the outlets to safety ones. I really liked the components used - it's definitely better quality than what's sold at BRU. It took the childproofer only 1 1/2 hours to do the job, but that's because he was skilled to do it right the first time. It would have taken countless hours to buy all the supplies, and install it ourselves. I also felt what they charge for the work is reasonable. It was really worth the peace of mind to have someone professional take care of safety in your home.. And best of all, the time saved could be well spent with family and my little girl instead. This is a special review. It's actually an update of a previous review, which I removed on my own accord. My first experience with this company was less than ideal due to the fact that the technician they sent (Jason) was unprepared and had a terrible attitude. He did the work, but it left me feeling really uncomfortable. Fast forward a few weeks. I get a phone message and an email from Natalia, the owner. She said she read my first review and was "mortified" that I had such a bad experience. She was totally not defensive and asked me how she "could make things better" for me. I told her that there were two things she could do (a) fire Jason for his terrible attitude and (b) refund my money. I NEVER in a million years expected that she would do BOTH! She wrote me back immediately and said (and I quote) "Attitude is everything and we are so sorry that your services were not presented with the utmost respect and kindness that we insist our installers offer." A company with THAT much integrity is indeed rare in this world. We've all worked at places with bad employees. Most of the time, we just have to put up with them. Boo Boo Busters actually DID something and got rid of the problem. Given how Natalia handled this situation, I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone considering baby proofing. We are so impressed with Boo Boo Busters. We just moved into a new house and my 10 month old was getting himself into trouble around every corner and stressing me out constantly!! Randall came over from Boo Boo busters and was wonderful They really know what they are doing and are able to offer the best solutions for you and your specific needs. Which means they don't always recommend their most expensive option...they will recommend what is truly best for your house. They also gave me a bunch of tips just to be helpful...like taking the plastic bags out of the powder room trash can because it's a suffocation hazard. I hadn't thought of that at all. Also, I want to say the staircase gates they installed are truly the best looking gates. I bought a couple from babies r us that were ugly and not sturdy.
