Most of the tapes were successfully converted. A few of the tapes has deteriorated and there was some loss of data or lines through the digital copy, but given that some of the tapes were 40 years old, that's to be expected. We dropped off and picked up the tapes at McLean Custom Framing. They were very convenient and friendly.

DO NOT USE this company if you want honesty and responsiveness. Our project had poor quality…read morecontrol and was returned to us with USB keys no including the very expensive captions we paid for. Assuming we simply were not viewing these correctly, we contacted them where they admitted they did not do the products correctly. Ok, that can happen. But that's when you step up! And they continued to bomb out. From there, they continually promised responses, and timing, that they completely ignored. Forcing us to repeatedly chase them down. Finally they confirmed when the new USBs would be sent and congratulated themselves for sending them next day -- which is the minimum of what should occur since that was what we ordered and paid for that they messed up. Since this took 4 different calls to chase we started asking for a discount for the disappointing work quality and responsiveness. ONLY THEN did they try and suggest that they 'we're not sure this was ever wrong in the first place.' Which is really gross to try and weasel out of what was a mistake that if handled with grace and respect, could have gone very differently. So it's marvelous that all conversations are on a recorded line -- that way, they can replay themselves lying to us! We asked for an overall discount for the disappointing service and experience and the owner had this to say, "...I just don't want to give a false impression about financial accommodation, which is reserved for rare situations where an irrecoverable error is made with someone's archive. In a situation like yours, where an addressable issue is raised by our client, our practice is to investigate and fix." So if you don't mind paying thousands of dollars to maybe get your project done properly -- and you're ok with being treated poorly -- use this company. If you expect more, which you should, DO NOT EVER use them. Use iMemories, or The digitize Center, or anyone else.

If you need a sign, stop scrolling -- you've found your people…read more I recently had ShieldCo create a sign for my primary care clinic, and I cannot say enough good things about this experience. From the very first conversation, Katie and the team made everything seamless. They listened to exactly what I envisioned, asked the right questions, offered creative input that elevated the whole design, and then delivered a finished product that honestly exceeded every expectation I had. The sign itself is stunning -- professional, polished, and eye-catching in a way that makes the clinic look as welcoming and credible as I want my patients to feel the moment they pull into the parking lot. The quality of the materials, the craftsmanship, the attention to detail -- all top-tier. But what really sets ShieldCo apart is the people. Katie was communicative, responsive, and genuinely invested in getting it right. There was never a moment where I felt like just another order number. The whole team clearly takes pride in their work, and it shows in every square inch of the final product. If you're on the fence, get off it. Give these people your money. Trust in Katie and the team at ShieldCo -- they will deliver something you'll be proud to put your name on. I know I am. -- A very happy clinic owner
