The bread was good, but the pork portion was quite skimpy and it only had a few thin onion pieces. And the flavor was rather bland. The French fries were not cooked thoroughly -- he was given them to try as he'd actually ordered sweet plantains (maduros) as his side. The maduros came later. I got their baby churasco with white rice and black beans. I liked my meal although the skirt steak was a tad tough to cut. The chimichurri and a squeeze of lime helped season the meat. The sweet plantains were good as were the beans and rice. We shared flan caramel for dessert. This was very good.

The food was tasty but yesterday went to the local Mobile Cuban Cafeteria around the corner and had the Cuban sandwich double the size and delish for $4.00 less but without a side dish. The vibrant storefront, the welcoming atmosphere, and the promise of authentic Caribbean flavors immediately set the tone. But let's talk about the FOOD... because wow. The Flavor Is Unreal The rice and beans were perfectly seasoned rich, aromatic, and cooked to perfection. Every bite had depth. The fried plantains were golden, slightly crispy on the outside, soft and sweet on the inside exactly how they're supposed to be. The noodles were flavorful and well-balanced, not greasy just seasoned right. And the fresh salad on the side? Crisp lettuce, fresh tomato slices, and perfectly boiled eggs it balanced the meal beautifully. The Sauce Game? Elite. The house sauces tied everything together. That Caribbean heat and tangy flavor elevated every bite. It wasn't just spice it was flavor with personality. Portions & Presentation The portions were generous. You are absolutely getting your money's worth. The takeout container was packed, and everything was neatly arranged. You can tell they care about how the food is served. Authentic Caribbean Vibes This isn't just food it's culture on a plate. You can feel the authenticity. The whole atmosphere the music, energy was there. There was a large free parking lot right in front. This was an easy stop and Yelp friends are raving about them. I smelled the tacos as soon as I got out of my car. Taco Tuesday was cute in black and orange with lots of clean tables, high tops, and outside tables. We went straight over to the tablets, scrolled and placed our order, tapping a credit card to finish. We weren't really sure if there were specials or meals were the best way to order. It is Cinco de Mayo and Tuesday here and we didn't see anything special. We grabbed a table near the walk of fame and sat down to watch the music video while we waited for our food. There was no hand soap in the ladies room, so I used the soap in the men's room. I mentioned it on the way in and when I washed up to leave, there was still no soap. We each had 2 birra tacos, shared a drink and rice and beans for $15 pp including tax and tip. Our food came out quickly with a bottle of green and a spicy red salsa. Our lunch was okay the tacos were a little messy crumbling as I was trying to eat them. They weren't full of fresh flavors, they just tasted washed out and watery.

They always have some good quality food and stuff you won't readily find available, but I don't go to the meet ups...luckily I do visit breweries...a lot. And with breweries come food trucks...such was the case of how I found Out of Many Cafe. One of my favorite dishes ever...is oxtail. I remember my mother used to make this (she doesn't make many dishes lol) and it would take her 2 days. She'd make this for me on special occasions like birthdays, and whenever I see it on a menu I order it. Luckily after a couple of beers my vision was still on point enough to spot this one the menu. There it was. In all it's glory. Oxtail - $12. My tipsy salvation. I'm salivating right now thinking of it. The plate was HUGE with a generous portion of oxtails and rice. Now, they ran out of veggies and they apologized and asked if I still wanted it. Ummm, did they think I ordered this for the veggies? All jokes aside, it was very nice of them to ask, and as an added bonus he said they would throw in some extra pieces of tail in there for me since I was the last costumer of the night. I'll take extra oxtail over a side veggies ANY DAY. The oxtail was perfect. Kinda different than how Cubans prepare it, but still delicious. The meat fell right off the bones, I don't even think I got my hands dirty like I usually do when eating this. The rice was a huge serving and was also really good. I think it had peas in it? Maybe I imagined that. So if you are likely at a brewery - or I guess a good truck meet up - and come across this Caribbean truck, skip all others! I just hope they run out of veggies again next time I see them!
