I had the Rainbow Trout w/Asparagus and Mashed potatoes, the seasoning on the Trout was literally finger licking good. However, there are tiny bones throughout so the urge to just stuff it in my mouth, went out the window after my first bite. (Ouch). And I had the Key Lime pie for desert!!! We were told 10-15 minute wait, but it was 30minutes. It took the server 10 more minutes to come by our table. Everyone's food was a disappointment. The sauce on my cod imperial was broken--curdled and sour. My husband had lobster-stuffed shrimp, which had a gelatinous texture. My mom had shrimp and scallops, and they hid a couple small scallops under the shrimp, and her friend had grilled oysters, which were too salty to eat. Delicious! And great lunch specials! We were given a gift card for Bonefish Grill and decided to take our son there while he was visiting for the holidays. (I don't eat much seafood, so we had not been here often.) The restaurant itself is clean and well decorated. The service is fast and friendly. I ordered a wicked themed cocktail which came out in a martini glass, green, and sparkling! It was also very tasty. My son ordered the Shaved Brussels Sprouts lunch salad with grilled salmon while my husband ordered the fish tacos lunch special with coleslaw and a side salad. I had the shaved brussels sprouts lunch special with no added protein. Our server brought a loaf of bread and a bowl of olive oil with seasoning. We devoured the bread and all of the oil immediately and asked for more which we were promptly given. Despite filling up on the bread, we each devoured our lunches as well. We come here occasionally for date night. The food never disappoints. Last night was exceptional. We had the butterfish with scallops special and the paper plane cocktail. Even though the place was packed, the service was still impeccable. We sat at the bar since we didn't have a reservation. The dining area is spacious with upscale decor. We came to try out their happy hour menu. You can seat anywhere in the restaurant not just limited to the bar. It's 3pm- 6:30 pm. Their is a HH menu different from then regular menu. There are drinks and shareable food items. We tried the Bangin chicken bites and Ahi tuna wonton crisps. The Bangin chicken bites were amazing and the Ahi tuna was great but it was on a large wonton chip with slaw. Too much wonton for the portion on tuna/ slaw. Perhaps half the wonton chip. One of the managers came over to our table to ck in with us and she was amazing. She said that Mondays all day $5 martinis til the end of the month. New menu. I normally get fish tacos, but today I had fish and chips. I did not realize when I ordered, entree came with a side salad as well as oil dipped bread. Too much food for me! Fish was flaky, the fries were good, but could have been more crispy. Server was great and the heat was on, so toasty even in front of door. A Brut sparkling wine was nice. Five Stars PLUS ! We came in today for a late lunch . I had written a review 5 months ago & this visit w/ Luis & Ethan ( trainee) was exceptional today ! Thank you, very much for the wonderful food. It was all delicious & the cocktails were perfect! I was there to visit my Dear friend who has dietary restrictions & everything was absolutely perfect ! Luis was very friendly & not intrusive & very attentive. Then later we meet his trainee Ethan definitely think he will be in good hands with Luis he is very good server .The cocktails we enjoyed were the key lime martini & pineapple martinis perfect as well & well made . My favorite was the fish & chips they were the BEST !!! Crisp & freshly made & tartar sauce & malt vinegar made it a delicious touch to the fish & chips ! My husband took me out on date night as I had never been to Bonefish Grill before and wanted to see about this Bang Bang Shrimp. The service and staff were friendly and checked on us often. The Bang Bang Shrimp was really good. Lightly fried and the sauce was just right. I ordered the Mahi Mahi with chimichurri, and my husband got Butter fish with a lemon crab sauce. Everything was cooked to perfection and was really good seafood night which is sometimes hard to find in Colorado Springs. Don't skip dessert. The bourbon brownie was so good!!! read more

I thought the atmosphere was fresh and clean. We were greeted and seated with our reservation we made. Melissa from the kitchen stopped by to introduce the menu and tell us to try the BangBang Shrimp! Which is amazing!!! Melissa was so professional and you can tell she likes her job and interacting with people. Great customer service!!! I had the Parmesan crusted trout which was very flavorful and pretty as well. Just tried this spot for the first time........we ordered the fish and chips and a kids meal fish and chips......then ran home to eat. The kids meal was the fish and chips we ordered and we really liked the fish and the fries.......the adult order of fish and chips somehow got switched for the blackened fish tacos. My wife can't eat anything spicy. I called and they replaced the fish and chips and were very nice about it. We got to keep the tacos..... I love the food at Bonefish and wanted to try a wine pairing experience. BIG MISTAKE. The seating was horrible. They packed us in like cheep sardines. If you wanted to get up and go to the bathroom EVERYONE between you and the aisle had to get up. I was elbow to elbow to the guests next to me. VERY packed in. Terrible. The manager informed us that they did not have enough wine glasses and would have to do some gymnastics to get clean glasses for each course. Wait a minute.... You host a Wine pairing dinner and KNOW how many guests you will have AND YOU DON'T HAVE ENOUGH GLASSES???? Very poor management. At one point the server told our table that if he filled the glass to the right level he would loose his job. Well, I hope that server did. You NEVER treat a customer the way he did. Seriously, pour a customer a full glass when you shorted them and we are paying top dollar for a dinning experience, it was a horrible one. Now to the service... A wine pairing should have the wine served BEFORE the dish is put in front of the customer.. mainly by having every guest pass my plate or wine down to me. I don't want my food and wine handled by several people before it makes it to me. This is a health violation. The salad comes out and NO wine in front of us. Most of us finished the salad BEFORE the wine that was suppose to be PAIRED with it was served...by passing it down the table in the hands of many other guests. I am guessing this is why I have a cold now. Really, where is the pairing experience??? Not here!!! Just horrible service execution. The main coarse comes out with a nicely prepared steak and STONE COLD asparagus on a cold plate. REALLY? Why do you ruin a good steak entry by serving it on a COLD plate. I have dinned at 4 and 5 star restaurants all over the world and this experience showed me that Bone Fish is not where I want to spend my money. You packed us in just to increase your seating. I took my dad and sister here recently. We all had a nice time. We all enjoyed our drinks, and the waiter was very good. Not perfect, but who among us are? I ordered the mahi mahi and shrimp, as did my dad. Unfortunately the mahi mahi was a bit overcooked so it was pretty dry. I know it's a dense fish, so you have to be really careful when cooking it. We are pretty much regulars at Bone Fish. We love the food. service, atmosphere & easy to make a reservation. But, the other night, I was disappointed in my main course. I ordered the coconut shrimp which came with coconut risotto & broccoli. Now, I like things on the crisp side, & when my dinner arrive I thought, "hmmm, those shrimp look pretty burnt". I gave them a try & they tasted burnt. My coconut risotto was barely warm. I would never send anything back to the kitchen; I was in the food business for a long time. We came here on December 21st. Boy was this place a great experience. It was a cold night and it was about 600pm and it was dark already. The staff working here was nothing but excellent. Everyone from the wait staff to the hostess to the people walking around and delivering food/drinks. If you're ever in the area please give these guys a try! I love the food and have been enjoying going there for years. This is truly my first time writing a negative review. I normally only say good things or say nothing at all. Tonight (oct 31,2024) we went in for dinner. We normally order blackberry sangrias even though they normally put way too much ice. Tonight, we decided to order a pitcher. Over $26 for a pitcher and 2 glaces. The waitress brought it to our table and poured a little into each glass. The picture shows how much ice it is. Again not that big a deal. When I saw that neighboring tables, were cut I thought it was strange. Great service, atmosphere, and food! We thoroughly enjoyed our Sunday afternoon with family.

Went here because my boyfriend thought it would be good to try. Ambiance was 10/10 right off the bat. The vibe of the entire restaurant was amazing. You could tell all the servers were dedicated to their tables and the customers were enjoying themselves. Our server was very attentive and kind, educating us on the menu and cocktails, what was popular and what his favorites were. The cocktails were amazing. My boyfriend got the smoked old fashion, which was superb! It was strong enough to feel the burn but not enough to put hair on your chest lol. My lychee cocktail was sweet and flavorful; one of the best I've had by far! We skipped out on the apps because we weren't that hungry. My entree was the Alaskan salmon, he ordered the bourbon glazed salmon. Got to tell yall. 2000/10. The sides were perfectly portioned, and the salmon was so buttery and flavorful. Props to the chefs! Although a chain restaurant, Bonefish always has a good meal. For less then $100 two people can dine regally. I had the mule (in glass not metal and it's definitely addicting. This place was excellent and accommodating for us during our visit. We brought our little one along before heading to the zoo and they didn't bat an eye and sat us quickly. The wait service was attentive and friendly and the food was delicious. We knew we had a long day ahead of us and chose the Sea Bass and a a fish dish with a miso sauce. Both were very well prepared. We chose potatoes, Brussels and risotto. Excellent compliments to our main course. The only thing that bugged me was the plastic tablecloths that made the whole environment feel so cheap like a picnic or something- contradicting the cloth napkins, formal dining decor, and professionally dressed staff.
