Cannot say enough good thing about this place. Had a septum piercing done and had such a wonderful experience. I went with my 3 year old daughter and friend. Kreston (the piercer) had us all feeling so welcomed, it was such a comfortable atmosphere. He is such an easy going and delightful person to talk to. He definitely knew what he was doing. I got my tragus pierced here today. I was planning to go to Freak Chic (formerly House of Freaks) in LA to do my tragus, since it is very reputable and I got my conch done there, but I was lazy and I was gonna be in this area today... so I went to Bone Deep. My boyfriend got most of his tattoos done here. I was unsure because I didn't find any reviews on this place, plus I didn't want to go to a tattoo parlor that has piercing on the side. Kryston (hope I spelled that right) did my piercing for me. He seemed knowledgeable and professional. Honestly I felt nervous though, because he could have appeared more confident. But then that is understandable because no one is really in Apple Valley, so I doubt they get as many customers than say a shop in LA. But my tragus was done nicely, I think clamp slipped and he nicked me a bit, but that was alright. He gave good aftercare directions so I could tell he was pretty legit. The price is great, $35 for surface piercings include the jewelry. I know I keep on comparing this place to House of Freaks, but I just wanted to say that I felt so comfortable at HoF, even though conch piercings are known to hurt like hell. At Bone Deep, I felt like I was getting pierced by someone who knew what he was doing, but wasn't experienced enough. I had a good experience here though, but if I wasn't in the area or too lazy to drive farther, I wouldn't have come here for any piercings. read more

I got my nipples pierced there yesterday. Cost is $25.00 per piercing and includes basic jewelry. Kreston did the job nicely. He made me feel comfortable and was as professional as I'd expect in this line of business. The only thing that bugged me about the business was the young man who "welcomed" us (my husband came with me). We couldn't understand a word he said because of the way he talked/mumbled and we're both hard-of-hearing :(. Otherwise we're very happy with it! I got both of my cartilage ear piercings done here. The first one was two years ago by Kreston (I think), and I followed their care instructions and it healed fine and it looks great. My little sister and her friends when to go there to get their nose pierced, they were seen by Kreston. And when my little sister went to go get her nose pierced by him, he had a boner and put his dick on her leg. And then after he put the dot on her nose for where the piercing was going to go he started to rub the cap of the marker on her lips like kind of outline it like a lip liner. And then after she got her nose pierced he stuck his fingers in her mouth and proceeded to follow her around the shop. And after they were done getting their nose pierced he asked my sister where they were going next and by they he meant him and her. And what makes me more upset is that when her friend got her nose pierced first, he was completely professional with her. I confronted to him about it. And he confessed about everything else but denied the whole boner incident even though there was 2 other witnesses. This man is sick in the head!!! I have been looking for a place to get tattoos in the high desert for a bit. There is always that concern that the artists are gonna dork up the work and you'll be stuck with something you aren't quite satisfied with. Thankfully I found Mike here at Bone Deep and he will be my only artist from now on. Since discovering him I have had several hours of a back piece done, my husband has had a few pieces done, and I have brought my son in on his latest trip home to have a nice piece done. Mike does perfect work and has a great artists eye for what will look just right. I like that he can actually sketch something right on the skin then make it look fantastic. All of the folks that do work out of the shop that I have met have been very friendly. It is the kind of place I am very comfortable in, which of course is important when you're going to be there for a few hours. I came to Bone Deep Tattoo to get a tattoo removed, Kreston talked to me on the phone about the process and I went in wanting more information about the procedure. When I got there Kreston called me back to take a look at my tattoo, my tattoo is on my lower back, I showed him and he proceeded to pull my pants all the way down exposing my entire butt, and almost my front. I was humiliated, embarrassed and felt exposed. He told me that he wouldn't remove such a beautiful tattoo and to get the fuck out of his shop, In a funny way, I suppose. Then he asked me if he could pierce my nipples and I said no. I will never be going back to this place, I felt sexually harassed and he talked down to me like I was a stupid little girl.
