This was extremely hard for me since I had Bacon before my daughter and my husband. The staff were so kind, and made the process as gentle on us as possible. They created a memorial keepsake with her paw print in sand. They also included patches of her fur, and they made sure to include all of her colors. Not only that, they sent a beautiful, handwritten sympathy card. I know it's old fashioned, but it also shows that they care. That action took time, and they didn't have to do that, but they did. I will take my other cats there, any future pets, and I'll recommend other pet parents to this vet.

Over the course of the weekend we ended up going to an emergency hospital and another clinic in manhattan. I gotta say that the difference between this clinic and Steinway was night and day. The front of house staff was amazing, and the doctor was so compassionate. Sadly we lost our beautiful Mia on Monday. For years we took our baby to Steinway thinking this place was great, and I assure you there are other places in nyc that will show you on day one the difference in front of house staff and quality of care.
