Be careful! The billers don't know what they're doing. Double check your EOB's against your bill.

Rude and irresponsible people in the Nephrology Department. Would never use them. Be careful. Especially Dr. Hou.

This office visit was an abysmal. I do not recommend this doctor whatsoever. He gave me wrong info…read moremultiple times. I came in very excited to maybe finally get relief from insomnia and discuss HRT and my Hashimotos and thyroid. He said Xanax had a longer half life than Ativan...not true - Chat GPT gave me better care and more accurate answers than Dr Kao. He also said I'm not in perimenopause due to my FSH number. He said he took two classes on HRT. He's wrong again- FDH is not the only number looked at to determine perimenopause. He gave me a script for a new antidepressant with horrible side effects and Xanax. This is what true HRT docs warn you about. Male doctors like him who dismiss your perimenopause symptoms and have taken a self professed 2 classes to educate themselves on how to help women like me in their late 40's. He ordered a mammogram and colon guard. He didn't want to pull new blood work or anything. This practice is not one I would ever recommend after 40 minutes and nothing resolved. Left behind frustrated. Beyond mad.

I think we caught HPT earlier than the doctors that can't think out of the box would have, and I believe that this operation saved me decades of problems. I was instructed to continue to take calcium for that low lab. I also continued vitamin d since it was trending up but still low. I was worried that I was going to have to take calcium for the rest of my life. But thankfully, my recently pth levels are normal. My vitamin d is finally in the normal range too. It isn't in the optimal normal range but it will get there. I just wanted to share that incase someone freaks out about pth being low after the procedure. So hopefully my labs will stabilize and continue to stay normal. Will update if anything changes. The scar is barely visible too. The incision was made at my natural fold. It healed nicely.

I waited 6 months for an appointment with Dr. Koshy at AdventHealth Diabetes and Endocrinology…read moreTampa, only to have it canceled one week before the visit by voicemail after I missed a call. When I called back, I was told the doctor had an emergency and left the country, and the next available appointment with him would not be until December -- about 9 more months later. What makes this especially upsetting is that I was not trying to schedule some routine visit. I have Kallmann syndrome, a congenital form of secondary hypogonadism, and I needed an endocrinologist to help me start proper treatment connected to fertility and having children. I do not produce my own testosterone normally, and I was seeking specialist care to discuss hCG treatment to stimulate hormones involved in natural testosterone production and spermatogenesis. For someone in my situation, these delays are deeply serious and personal. Instead of offering real support or urgency, the office gave me almost no options. Only after I pushed did they find one appointment with another specialist 40 miles away, but then they said I needed a new referral. I got that done, waited another two weeks, and still nobody called me back. I called multiple times and was repeatedly told that manager Enid was in meetings and would call me back. She never did. When I finally came to the office in person, staff acted like they knew nothing, said there was nothing in the chart, and even claimed my appointment had been canceled because I did not have a referral -- which was not true. The whole experience felt disorganized, dismissive, and careless. At one point, the manager was loudly reacting to what staff had told me right at the front desk. I also spoke with Joelis, a call center supervisor, and did not feel my concerns were taken seriously at all. For a clinic that handles endocrine and hormone-related conditions, it is unacceptable to treat a patient's fertility concerns this way. When someone is trying to get help to preserve or begin the chance to have children, months of delay matter. Communication matters. Follow-through matters. Compassion matters. After spending hours there in person, I was finally able to get some printed proof of the cancellation and piece together part of what had happened. But this never should have reached that point. This experience caused unnecessary stress, delay, and emotional harm during an already sensitive and time-important medical situation.

The doctors provided exceptional care and ensured we had the best experience possible. In our recent training, we learned from Mill how to properly use the sugar measuring machine on a daily basis. Additionally, Lori provided us with a detailed discussion on various foods and their constituents and instructions for scheduling and necessary steps. We were fortunate to have both physicians who were not only knowledgeable but also very supportive.

While the office itself is fairly large and on both occasions I've seen a few folks waiting, patients are brought back fairly quickly. The nurse I've seen twice is personable yet professional. Dr. Constant is incredibly thorough, organized and has a great "bed-side manner. He made knowledge pertaining to my thyroid highly accessible to me without ever being condescending. While he is working with a patient, he has someone in the exam room transcribing for him. I believe this allows him to spend more time addressing patient concerns as opposed to documenting. I would highly recommend Dr. Constant for care of your endocrine system.

I would have loved to have come in but I never got notified about this place being open. I came back recently due to their REFUSAL to refill my insulin. They refused to fill my insulin to force me to come in when they hadn't attempted to reschedule my appointment when they reopened! When they refused to refill my insulin I went to make an appointment and it was schedule 7 weeks later. I had to buy my insulin on the open market even though I had health insurance. I was most frustrated because if they had simply told me they were open I would have been in. Do they forget that nearly everyone has phones? They certainly knew I had a phone due to their prior pandemic reminders, and their text message asking me to confirm my appointment earlier today. Did something happen to create an atmosphere of apathy here? Is there some new research that says denying diabetics insulin is helpful? Is denying diabetics insulin the most efficient way to contact their patients? If you're a diabetic with a predictable life then this might be the place for you. But if your life is chaotic I would recommend going to doctor who swore an oath to do no harm. They get two stars because they've done good work in the past. I wish they'd return to their previous quality
