It's independently owned They have 5 offices and practice with 1 being in Atlanta Georgia and the rest Florida Orlando Kissimmee, Panama City, destin, & crestview. I came to the Orlando-Kissimmee office . The reception was busy I signed in she asked if I was a new patient and handed me new patient packet . My recommendation fill it out when they send it via email. I was unable to do this because My appointment was scheduled for weeks out, and I just so happen to see an appointment literally the day of a came rushing. They don't take same day appointments but with the grace and blessing of god the doctor approved to see me . They do sonogram there I would of done my sonogram there but they only do it Tuesday and Wednesday. The medical assistant took my blood pressure and weight in the waiting area on this high tech machine picture attached . Dr kamel came in introduced himself he was very kind. I showed him my test and he ordered a sonogram and t3 free and peroxidase antibodies . So far so good

When we got there? I went to sign in and she gave me some papers, I gave her my insurance and ID and before I could take the clipboard she tells me she doesn't take my insurance. My mom comes up and says 'We called a few times and you guys said you take this insurance' and, who I'm assuming is the manager or just higher nurse, tells us that they never said that and they can help if we pay $150 to get in. We left obviously, not that we couldn't afford it but the total lie they said over the phone. Disapointed though they were both nice, me and my mom were TIRED of just driving for 2 and a half hours.

I honestly didn't think acupuncture would work when so many different doctors and pharmaceutical drugs had failed. I couldn't have been more wrong. Dr. K and Maria have most certainly changed my entire perception of what a true healthcare professional is. From old injuries stemming from combat deployments to new injuries almost weekly from jiu jitsu, I did not make their jobs any easier lol. When I tell you guys that these ladies are absolutely LASER focused on patient results, that is not an exaggeration by any stretch. They listen to all of my complaints and do everything in their power to produce immediate results in the form of symptom relief. Each and every session. Without fail. Dr K's vast knowledge of of the human body and ability to create, literal, miracle working treatment plans on the fly is seriously next level. To say that every session I learned something new about my own body would be drastically selling it short. There has not been one single session that I've walked out of where I didn't feel as if all my needs were met and questions answered. Acupuncture is just a portion of the services offered. Literally the tip of the whole health iceberg. From Maria being able to pinpoint knots in deep muscle tissue and provide immediate relief to the little frequency modulator that calms your brain down. This place has got you covered. My mobility has drastically improved, muscle tightness almost completely gone and because of that, my flexibility has increased a ton!! So, today we did an acupuncture session for stress relief. The first one I've done with them in the few months I have been going. I can't even put into words the amount of relief that gave me. I walked out of there feeling as if id just taken a Xanax or something. Literally THAT much relief. I've been dealing with PTSD from deployments and stuff for years and just pretty much white knuckling it like most dudes do. But holy shit guys.... This is the secret sauce. No meds, no bullshit. It really worked. I felt like an elephant got lifted off my chest as soon as that itty bitty needle went into the top of my foot. No joke. The results were immediate and extremely powerful. Not saying I understand how any of it works, because I definitely still don't. It might be science, it might be magic, but it absolutely works. And at the end of the day, the results speak for themselves. I've been through the gambit of mental health meds with the VA. I've done different psychedelic treatments with ketamine, mushrooms and Ayahuasca. I've used cannabis to manage symptoms. But this..... This is the absolute most immediate relief I've ever felt from PTSD / stress / anxiety. I originally intended for the acupuncture and massage therapy to handle all of my aches and muscle pains.... But it is abundantly clear to me that I can rely on Dr. K and Maria to assist with all faucets of my healthcare. Including, most surprising of all to me, mental health. I sincerely hope that by me sharing just a portion of what I've experienced, it encourages anyone on the fence like I was to just go ahead and go for it. Im sure I'm leaving out a ton of other really cool stuff out too but I cannot recommend this place enough. If I could make Dr. K my primary care provider instead of the VA, I would do so in a heartbeat.

The only other good thing I can say is the emergency procedure i had done was executed very well. Unfortunately, its all bad from here. Doctors and specialists are never, ever around, and will lie to your face and straight up keep you hostage for days to milk your insurance for all its worth. They do not give one iota of a shit about patients, they are only in it for the money. The urology team has managed to ruin the holiday (Thanksgiving) for myself and my family. I was told I would be discharged, but instead, the entire urology team LEFT FOR THE WEEKEND WITHOUT DISCHARGING ME SO THEY CAN MAKE MORE MONEY OFF OF MY INSURANCE, truly the u.s. healthcare system at work here folks. The food all tastes like it was sprayed with windex, they somehow even managed to make chicken noodle soup inedible. If you can go anywhere else, you should, i havent even been allowed to shower. They have been holding me against my will, and if i try to leave, i wont recieve the medication ill need to recover from the procedure, so i am literally a hostage while they pump all they can out of my insurance. Its disgusting and these people should be ashamed to call themselves healthcare workers.

Her internal bleeding went undiagnosed for about eight hours despite glaring signs. Once imaging was finally ordered and active internal bleeding was confirmed, surgery was delayed for roughly seven more hours. In the meantime, the doctor ordered mass blood transfusion in an improper way that worsened her condition instead of stabilizing her, while failing to move the central line that was improperly placed and that the radiologist recommended be repositioned. HCA Healthcare has faced no consequences, and there is no way for people researching physicians through the Florida Department of Health (DOH), the medical licensing board, to see what happened to my daughter. Because she was 25, unmarried, and had no children, Florida's 'Free Kill' law strategically blocked me from pursuing legal recourse to ensure the hospital and its physicians are held accountable so the harm does not continue.
