I ordered the Malay Chicken Curry with rice, which ended up being very coconut curry-esque and bland, had it not been for the sriracha that I would end up pouring on it. The wait staff lady was also pretty rude to us while we were trying to order, so perhaps it was a good thing that we ended up just taking it back home to eat. I can see Horapa being a good backup for those expats wanting Asian food in Palma, but if you know of another Southeast Asian restaurant on the island, I'd recommend going there first.

Service was great and the food prices are really quite reasonable. I had a langoustine (king prawn) Tom Ka soup with a boiled rice on the side; my wife had a stir fry fried rice with chicken, pineapple and cashew nuts. We were asked our preferred heat levels so I asked for spicy but not very spicy. The spicy wasn't spicy, not even close, in fact it was hard to detect any heat. My wife always opts for mild so in this case there was no spice kick in either dish at all. So it's Thai lite - not much taste of fresh chilli heat, not much taste of smashed lemon grass, no discernible nam pla fish sauce. I'm pretty sure they have all the ingredients in-house, so perhaps it's designed for Spanish palates - I prefer big and stronger flavours. While it's unlikely that we will return to Palma and we were glad we tried it we wouldn't re-visit this place if we did.
