He remembered June Cormier and Tommy Spell of the Boudin King 906 West Division Jennings, La 70546 but did not think they were there any more. Johnny's was equally as good as what I recall what the Boudin King was. If you don't know Boudin - here are the ingredients: Ingredients: 2 pounds pork meat, about 30% fat 1 1/2 pound pork liver 2 teaspoon salt 2 teaspoon black pepper 1 large onion, cut up 3 bunches green onions, chopped 12 cups cooked rice 1 tablespoon. chopped parsley 1 lot sausage casing Preparation: Cook pork, liver, salt, and pepper in water to cover until meat falls apart. Remove meat and reserve some of broth. While still warm, grind meat, onion, green onions, and parsley, saving about 1/2 cup of green onions and parsley mixture. Mix the ground meat mixture with the 1/2 cup of green onions and parsley, rice and enough broth to make a moist dressing. Stuff the dressing into sausage casing using a sausage stuffer. These sausages may be refrigerated or frozen. At different times of the year Boudin makers will make Boudin from different fresh or seasonal ingredients. It is not for everyone.

I must state that I decided to try this truck on a Friday during lent time, so therefore I had to…read moreeat something that was not meat.. I was really devastated.. I barely get to catch this food truck, and I did not get to try the other mouthwatering menu items.. so this review is based on one item, until I try the other items, I had the following: - Louisiana Grilled Shrimp, Caesar Salad, on a Spinach Wrap: the grilled shrimp was cooked perfect, and the wrap was good, just a little too light for me I can't wait to catch this truck again, and try his other items. ***So I came back to try this place again, and had their award winning pull pork sandwich. I now believe that it is an award winning sandwich. This sandwich was packed with so much flavor and quality, probably one of the best pull pork I ever hard. So moist and flavorful, I just want another one right now!

Perfect! I basically went eenie, meenie , miney , mo and picked Chef Gregory's Food Truck. The "Kick Ass Shrimp" sandwich caught my eye, although at $12.00 with no side item; it seemed kind of pricey. But, what the heck ... if it was good, it would be money well spent - right? Well, yes and no. The six shrimp were cooked very nicely, although I had to remove them from the sandwich in order to not eat the tails. It was the bottom bread swimming in grease and loads of garlic that was so disappointing. You could literally wring out the bread; instead, I just didn't eat it. For six shrimp and a top layer of bread, it was not worth $12.00. I bought a Diet Coke and that brought the total to $14.50. Sorry, Chef Gregory, but a food truck is not fine dining.
