I have such unruly, dry curls, and she led me to a perfect conditioner that helped repair my locks. I hadn't had a hair cut in a while, so Trinity made sure to talk to me about the length I wanted off and reassured me as she cut, instead of just chopping, like many stylists do. I purposely grabbed a few flyers for job employment purposes for my employer and proceeded inside. I was the only patron and the barber was engaging and eager to serve me, as I am recognized as a frequent customer. I informed the barber that I brought these employment fliers to post with the permission of the owner. The owner was on site and approached me aggressively and told me to leave. I asked if I did something to upset him and he said he didn't appreciate me soliciting his employees. I informed him he was mistaken and I was not trying to steal his employees. I even reiterated that I asked to display the fliers with the owner's permission. He admitted he may have jumped to conclusions, but continued to invade my space as he ushers me out the door. I told him I would never patronize his business again and he replied "that's fine" and continued to move me out the door. I have never been insulted, mistreated and embarrassed by a business, especially by the owner, like this in my life. My goal was simply to provide employment information to the community using his business establishment with his permission. I prefer to support businesses and owners who work in partnership for the greater good of our community. This owner failed miserably and lost a customer and potentially others as I share my dreadful experience.
