The original 'FAMILY' or several years ago I guess, has sold the business.
That's my guess.
The food quality and quantity has gone down hill since the familiar faces disappeared about a year or so ago.
I've seen it before. A Proficient indian cook and his/hers family starts a business, it's good, Builds a clientele.
He builds it and Sells to his relo's. (relatives)
The relos cant keep the standard of cooking and the business fails because their food is not as good.
This is what has happened here i believe.
I'm now disappointed every time i visit.
The 'front of house' person these days is a very arrogant young indian man. His appearance gives credulity though as he looks very Indian.
A great contrast to the previous owners jovial (as far as an indian can be jovial) persona is obvious and the food seems to be always leftover and dry and its is very obvious that the Tandoor is not well used or understood by those that use it.
The once beautiful NAANS, ROTI'S etc and other TaANDOOR tastes are not apparant anymore.
The rotis and naans are almost indistinguishable in that they are dry and unpalatable. That NEVER use to happen.
I have had 5 out of 5 bad meals now and i guess i'm just about done.
The business, when owned and run by someone called 'SONNY' produced world class indian. Not any more and i wont be going back unless desperate.
SUCH A SHAME. But thats what happens. read more
