Wonder Rittenhouse - My takeout order

Wonder is a ghost kitchen and NOT a food hall - "food hall" is misleading branding from Wonder, and…read moredoesn't feel genuine. This location has light seating, and is right by Liberty Place. I had a Wonder discount code, so gave them a spin. I explored Wonder's website, mobile web site, and app. All provided basically the same experience. Ordering was easy. Mix and match dishes from different genres, or just pick one. There's no tipping or delivery fees. I decided to pick up my food, so I headed to Wonder's Rittenhouse location. My food was ready as-promised. However, no one was at the front to hand me my food. No greeters, no one manning the customer takeout area. I had to poke my head in the kitchen to ask for help. (Growing pains?) Wonder seems to have deals with certain restaurants, like SriPhaPhai, a NYC Thai spot. I ordered a Tom Yum soup, which tasted very generic, not like anything you'd get from the actual SriPhaPhai (which I've been to several times). Their papaya salad wasn't bad, but drenched in sauce. To mix things up, I got a beef and broccoli (white rice included) which looked like Chinese takeout. Meat was distractingly tenderized, but the broccoli was good. I was okay with the last dish, but disappointed with my Thai choices. Risk trying Wonder if you have a discount code. Otherwise why pay so much for average food?

I would like to say this is the first and last time I could ever say, I would never ever in life…read moreorder from this place again so first and foremost, I ordered from DoorDash and my DoorDash or ran with my order and I guess that was God saying like maybe this is not the place to order from but you know like me and my husband we just had our fourth baby and we wanted to have dinner inside the house because I'm not well yet to go outside and I was like no let's get it again from this place because there's something new well that was a bad decision. Maybe my DoorDash or running off with my order the first time should've been my sign not to order again, so I ordered the burrito with chicken. It was supposed to have hot Cheetos in it didn't have hot Cheetos at all and then the french fries was supposed to be Asada and they gave me chicken Fries and yeah, it sucked ass. Excuse my language like I just wanted to have a nice Valentine's Day at home and not go out for dinner and that burrito tasted horrible. The french fries were cold. The meat was pretty hard the portion it was a good portion, but didn't have enough meat in the burrito. I taste some more french fries more cheese, more guacamole than anything. I thought I was eating a vegan burrito and then eating the french fries with the chicken I felt like I was eating rocks with soft mushy food. I will definitely not be recommending this place to anybody like it's funny because I was reading some of the reviews and they got some good reviews and then they got some horrible reviews and I was just like fuck I should've read the reviews first but now I learned my lesson thank you guys for the lesson of not ordering from here ever honestly I was better off ordering McDonald's then ordering from this place like that of a lot and it's not like I had high hopes for this players like the pictures look great and they did not meet their fucking expectation. I hope my DoorDash order that stole my DoorDash order in the first place taste like shit as well. anyways amen God bless if you thinking about eating at this place think twice if I could minus my stars I would definitely do it.

Food is delivered and ready for pick-up rather quickly. Surprisingly found plenty of parking spots right outside for pick-up. That being said, the food is not up to par. I've had some of the dishes from the original establishments and there's a drastic difference. Secondly, any dish that had a protein in it was barely present in the dish (ie. bowls and salads).

This new food hall opened up in Fishtown. At first, I thought it was a ghost kitchen where random…read morerestaurants delivered food at a certain place and there was no dine in. I was proven wrong! You can either order food on a website or at their kiosk onsite. It does also have a place to sit at if you want to enjoy your food at this location. The food from the different restaurants are prepared onsite. The restaurants we checked out were: Tejas BBQ, Maydan, and SriPraPhai. The Tejas BBQ had amazing BBQ. We ended up getting the pork belly. It was delicious but very small for portions. I definitely needed another meal after that. For the Maydan, I got the chicken kebabs. I really liked the chicken and how it was grilled. I also really liked the use of pickled onions on the dish. I enjoyed the green and white sauce. I didn't care much for the red sauce, however. The sauces I liked were the Garlicky toum (white), spicy zhough (green). These are worth getting. Lastly was the SriPraPhai. We got the drunken noodles with tofu. The noodles were full of whole Thai basal leaves and the dish also had bell peppers. It was average at best. I did like how it had a slight kick to it however (this definitely was a less American version of Drunken noodles).
