We cause we were already in the area why know keep exploring around... we found this supermarket love Indian food. This market I do no know has everything. Next time I will google some recipes. I found the tea I been looking for months, nan, roti. They have fresh fruit and vegetables available and everything (as a little I know) you need. It was an overwhelming experience about all items, products, and produce they sell. Next time I will come prepare to buy ingredients to cook Indian food at home. For now I will enjoy my tea, nan, and all other goodies I know I can cook ;) read more

This place is great. We were headed to Bonbon Cafe for dessert and came across this huge Indian grocery store. What an unexpected find! Large spice selection, as well as a variety of rice. The produce looked fresh and prices were good. We will definitely be back. read more

This is a great market. I cook a lot of Indian food, as my husband is from Malaysia. Been to Indian markets all over the US. This one is my favourite. Clean, large inventory, incredibly low prices (especially on spices), and friendly staff. A bit of a drive, but well worth it. I'll be back. read more

Great place for produce (mangoes!), indian snacks, curry powders and mixes, authentic / imported soft drinks, bulk yogurt and rice. Not so great for: frozen section (all of it is WAY overpriced, especially the premade dishes). Also not great for honoring their deals. Assume all of the sales or deals on the shelves aren't true, because there was a very obvious/clear-cut buy 2 get 1 free that we missed out on because they denied the sale. Despite that lack of transparency, I still think I'll be back to grab indian groceries if I'm ever in need. The variety is too good to pass! read more

I hate to buy at this place. They have very poor quality of veggies and the cashier aunty ji & that uncle guy doesn't care how long people are waiting in a line they just takes someone who just came to the cashier line at the end and bypasses the queue for their friends and family... hello I have been waiting in the line for 15 minutes!! I try to avoid this place but I have no other choice to buy Indian groceries around. And it's always the same damn thing. I am a regular customers of Spice Bazaar on Gettysburg road and it was only recently that I discovered this place. This place is almost like the Giant of Indian groceries, it is always busy and they carry many items a smaller store like spice bazaar does not. While this location may have more selection, what this store is lacking is the friendliness that Spice Bazaar has. And it is never a peaceful shopping experience here. Expect to be fighting with other customers for space, and don't expect your cashier to have a conversation with you. Despite all this though I still do love coming here. I love finding new things to try and if we are in the area I always will stop here. But if you are looking for a more quiet and friendly shopping experience I definitely recommend Spice Bazaar to this location. read more

Holy Cardamon on a Stick Batman! Out of the [really long] list of items, only one was not to be found in this store. The "kitchen aide" section is a little thin, but the raw/bulk ingredients sections are beyond compare! flours, spices (whole, and powdered), fresh produce, frozen goods. ALL HERE under one roof and easily laid out so no help was needed. Want to make time disappear? You'll spend hours daydreaming about all the things you could make with the ingredients you won't find at Giant/Weiss/Wegmans. White people beware, there are brands beyond Goya. This place in a monopoly, they over charge on atta and rice being the only large Indian grocery store in the area which forces most people to pay their prices. Be careful with the cashiers too; if you don't watch what they're keying in on the register they'll make sure to overcharge you. I went in the other day for 2 boxes of gulab jamun clearly marked 4.99 and the lady tried to charge me 7.99 per box. When I pointed out the price was 4.99 she tried to tell me I was wrong. Lady it's not a sticker, it's literally the print on the box; if you don't want to sell it for the price marked then don't sell the product. read more

One of the best Indian grocery places in the area. I am used to shopping at Lotte Plaza in MD and VA but this has quality products at an even better price. I wish they would add a 'chaat' section as well. That would complete the experience. read more

Clean, well organized and maintained grocery store. Good for spices, vegetables, rice, tea, lentils and herbs. Some of the prices are half than any other grocery store. This place possibly has everything u can imagine about indian food. Vegetables are always fresh and beautifully stacked. Groceries are of very high quality . And the frozen section is huge. And i love the freshly made street food at the billing counter, i can never turn my back to that. Staff are not the friendliest , dont expect a smile or a greeting. read more

I love this place! It's very well-organized, clean, and bright compared to the couple of other Indian markets that I've visited in the area. They have a great variety of rice, spices, and produce at a fraction of typical grocery store prices. A lot of the products are half the price, if not more. For example, a bunch of cilantro from Wegman's runs me $1.99, compared to 50 cents at Bombay Bazzar. You can also get big bags of spices at practically the same price of a small McCormick jar. Buyer beware though, not everything is inexpensive. I once found a 28 oz. can of Hunt's tomato sauce marked for $3.99, which is totally ridiculous, but as long as you're aware of prices, you'll definitely make out ahead here. The have a pretty large frozen section full of veggies, Indian meals, appetizers, breads, and ice cream. Most everything that I've gotten from there has been fantastic quality. I always buy the bulk packages of Kawan paratha to keep on hand when I'm cooking Indian food. Just as good as homemade and so much more simple. The staff has always been friendly to me so no complaints there. It can get pretty busy on the weekends, and as they're usually only running two of the check-outs and hand type in prices, the check-out process can get a bit lengthy. I try to do my shopping on weekday mornings when possible. Once you're at the counter though, you'll be enticed by trays of Indian sweets and snacks. Try them! The samosas are huge and delicious. I would definitely recommend this place. The prices make it worth a stop for nearly any shopper. read more

And for working in my office at home I often burn incense, which Bombay Bazzar has a wonderful selection of and bargain prices. And of course a wide variety of other international food items. Incredible selection. A whole section dedicated to rices, flours, and dals. huge spice selection in quantities that would make McCormick die of shame for what they charge. One entire 12-foot long, 6-foot high section of pickle!. An entire aisle of prepackaged ready-to-eat pouch Indian dishes. Walls and walls of frozen foods (try the pistachio or rose ice cream!), a huge central vegetable section bordered by more Indian snacks than you could eat in one lifetime. And at the counter, pans of baked goodies including my kryptonite--samosas! Go there just to look, and smell, and experience proof that the world has a lot more than pot roast and mashed potatoes to have for dinner! read more

Great Indian grocery store. Along the likes of New Jersey ones! We would usually drive to Edison to pick up groceries. Not any more. This place rivals any in Edison. Has everything I could ask for and more importantly their prices are pretty close to NJ stores. In addition the Regal 14 in Harrisburg, a 20 minute ride away screens Hindi movies. It makes for a great day for me. Watch a movie, do some Mall shopping then Bombay Bazzar and dinner at Bombay Junction in the same strip mall and back home less than 2 hours away. read more

Worst Customer Service ever. I bought $600.00 grocery so i asked her do you offer anything as i have bought 600 grocery. The Clerk on Register 2 said "WHAT DID YOU EVEN BUY? THAT WE SHOULD OFFER YOU DISCOUNT OR ANYTHING.'' other stores when you even by more then curtain amount they give you saffron. LADY was rude, Arrogant, NO COMMON SENSE AT ALL. lady put Jaggery on my puff mamra. i took the jaggery out of mamra and told her that my mamra will break. She said "YOU HAVE NO COMMON SENSE AND CHECK AND MAKE SURE''. she should BE FIRE from work. we give you the business. will NEVER GO BACK. read more

what can I say ..just happy to have the store around us. Indian veggies like tinda,bhindi,karela,dhudhi, such a delight and the spices in a huge range. Their freezer section have great selection too. The Indian bread 'Paratha' from Malaysia are YUMMY (WATCH THE CALORIES). They have these easy quick chicken seekh kebabs by Shanawas perfect for a quick bite.The wonderful man who runs the place is helpful every time and so are the rest of the staff. Curry leaves are like icing on the cake. Take a stroll in the store ....you wont leave empty handed.:) read more

I went to buy a box mangoes. And a middle aged Indian lady suddenly called my attention when I was choosing some still good edible mangoes.who would want to buy and eat almost rotten mangoes? She said I could not choose?and she shooed me off the store like someone who does not know my rights.while I was explaining to her I swear was my calm voice she wanted me to get out of that store.i would understand if they don't sell it per piece but they I also do. And I wouldn't mind paying it per piece.hello! And mind you this was not my first time to go and buy some there. It was just then that that lady was not only acting nasty rude but sounded like one. I like the selection and the prices. I have to say though that I feel like a 2nd class citizen while shopping there. Almost every time I go there with my kids I see someone 'of a different demographic' to me getting a freebie. The last time I was there, the customer's kids in front of me were given free candy right in front of my grandson - who received nothing even though I spent $40 more than the previous customer. On another occasion, a few free pieces of fruit were placed in the bag for another customer. I grew up eating Indian food and I know what to buy to make my own, but I wish that they were a little friendlier towards me. My money is as green as other people's and I am always a friendly and polite customer to them. The organization of the store is a little confusing too. Some of the spices are at the back, while others are by the front - with some in both places. This place is not for novices because it can be hard to find your key ingredients. I will continue shopping there for now though read more
