They have a strict no photo/video recording in the store but best believe they have several cameras on you. The prices weren't too bad especially for imported goods. I didn't find much myself as we road-tripped here and I didn't want to struggle getting stuff back. They did have some of everything though. They charge for bags, so bring your own. My friend did say this is one was smaller than others she'd been too. She also said the others usually have a food court where you can get different foods. They did have some food situation going on in one of the corners but did not go out of my way to look.

The scariest part of a trip to Arash International Market isn't picking between three cuts of lamb…read more-- it's the parking lot. I've watched more than one car back into another trying to escape a space that was clearly designed for a smaller crowd than this place actually pulls in. If you're coming, budget an extra minute to ease out slowly and watch your mirrors. Once you're inside, though, it's a different story. This is where I go for halal ground beef, lamb, and chicken on a regular rotation, and the quality has never once let me down -- everything's fresh, well-trimmed, and clearly turned over fast enough that nothing sits. The market itself is easy to navigate, genuinely clean, no overwhelming meat-counter smell, no piped-in music competing with your thoughts -- just a well-organized space that gets out of your own way while you shop.

Having…read morebeen to several excellent Arab markets in the Dallas area, where I live, I thought I would take a look. I was quite impressed! Meats and cheeses were abundant at the counter; there was a good variety of typical Middle Eastern products and some products I had not seen before. Prices were reasonable and the service was excellent. The place was crowded and I was one of the few people there who did not speak Arabic. That's a good sign! It means that Arash fulfills a cultural need. I'll be sure to go back to Arash when I next come to Denver.

However the Denver Halal restaurant is inside and if you're looking for a no frills spot to grab affordable gyros and chicken shawarma this is your spot. They will also sell you their meats on the spits by the pound. We grabbed gyros at $20/lb and they pile in in a container for a quick to go order. Let's be clear this place is NOT fancy, you don't come for ambiance and you don't come for grocery items but their meats and sandwiches hit so I'll keep coming back.

I walked into GW Supermarket looking for one thing -- mango puree -- and walked out having found…read moreeverything except that. That's the honest headline of this place: it's enormous, and it's stocked with sections for African, Indian, Jamaican, Japanese, Korean, and half a dozen other countries' pantries, and somehow the one basic thing I came in for wasn't on a shelf anywhere. I asked two different staff members if I was missing it, and both actually walked the aisle with me to check rather than just pointing and shrugging. No luck that day, but the effort mattered. Most of the packaging in here isn't in English, and if you're the type who needs to read every label before buying, budget extra time. But that's part of what makes it worth the trip -- this isn't a store dumbing itself down for anyone, it's a store built for the communities it actually serves, and the labels reflect that. If you get stuck, staff will come find the item with you instead of just gesturing toward an aisle number. Heads up walking past the seafood section: there's a real smell there, but it's the honest smell of fresh fish, not anything spoiled or off. If you've spent time in any proper seafood market, you'll recognize it immediately and it shouldn't put you off -- it's not a red flag, just a strong one. Prices are genuinely good for the volume and range of product you're getting, and the sheer scale of the place means you could shop here weekly and still find something new every time. It's a little chaotic in the best way -- more discovery than errand. Who it's for: anyone cooking outside the standard American grocery aisle, anyone who wants ingredients for a specific regional dish and is tired of substituting, and anyone who just likes wandering a store that clearly wasn't designed by committee. Go in with time to browse, not a tight list -- and maybe don't count on the mango puree. 4.5 stars, rounding to 4 -- knocked half a point for the miss on a pantry staple in a store this size, not for anything the staff did.

This is a great little market! Most of the international markets I've come across in western Aurora…read moreare Asian/African in origin but I was finally able to find a great Mexican one. They have so many great fresh-made treats, fresh produce, and unique looking meats. It's fairly small but they've got most everything you need for a fiesta. The prices are excellent as well. The only thing that gets me is that a lot of their "homemade" goods, like most international markets, don't have nutrition labels or if they do they are in Spanish. Makes me a little hesitant to buy those items. Aside from that minor nitpick though, this store is awesome and I would highly recommend it
