Also I think they switch out the sauces now and then which also makes it kind of interesting. The place is pretty small so sometimes the wait is a little while and it can get crowded, but it's totally worth it. It seems like most people order to-go, but eating there is much more fun. Plus, if you stay there to eat, you'll be able to sample/order more of the sauces rather than just one or two. I do wish that they had something other than fries, since fries alone aren't really a meal, but I guess that's one reason they are unique. The pub is strangely laid out. Its long and thin, but has a variety of spaces including a stage area at the front which hosts regular live music at weekends, we have seen some great bluegrass musicians here recently. The bar serves a variety of beers including asahi and fruli on tap, good wines and all your regular spirits. There is further seating at the back, including a lounge-bed behind the curtains!! Downstairs there is a another room which hosts numerous events including a free cinema, life drawing events and other eclectic nights out. The bar staff have always been friendly when I have been in. On the whole, this is a quirky bar with loads of atmosphere and character. The revolving head and the bed seating make good talking points! It's a far cry from you gastropub or generic chain bar, but give me The Bee's Mouth any day of the week and I'll be a happy lass!

The pub itself is very small, with two seating areas indoors and a small outdoor seating area. It's usually fairly quiet during the day, but in the evenings it can get packed - especially when they squeeze in a band for some live music. During the day they also do a limited range of bar food and snacks. My only criticism is that the gents' loo could do with some tlc But the thing to come for is the beer, from its own brewery. Orginally situated in the Evening Star's cellar, the 'Dark Star' brewery has now moved to larger premises outside Brighton. The pub offers a rotating selection of its beer range (up to 7 at any one time) which, as well as traditional beer types, encompasses those with an original twist - such as beer brewed with a hint of ginger, coriander and orange or espresso coffee beans. Coffee bean beer? I kid you not: the 4.2% Espresso coffee beer is a naturally dark ale, brewed using espresso coffee beans, blended especially for Dark Star. These are added towards the end of the brewing process with late hops. The result is stunning. It was voted 'best beer' at the Bath Beer Festival. With low ceilings and intimate little tables and booths, the Greys is the perfect place to snuggle up with friends or a special someone for a glass of red wine in the winter. In addition to the cosy indoor seating, they have a covered, heated patio at the side of the building and a few tables and chairs out front. As well as an impressive array of the usual ale, lager and cider, the Greys boast a fine selection of Belgian beers with very distinctive flavours...the raspberry and cherry are especially tasty. The pub is a hub of beer-drinking activity during the Hanover beer festival and is my favourite of the pubs involved. This pub is also great for live music...I once happened in on a beautiful folk singer. They quite often feature local and international musicians of all varieties, but they do seem to generally favour bluesy and folksy bands, which is fine by me! They also do a monthly music quiz, which will especially appeal to music buffs.

In like a good version of Ground Hog day kinda way and that's not good for your liver right! This is my favourite BrewDog that I've visited so far and I've certainly been around the BrewDog block in my time! The layout is perfect, with a mixture of booths, a cozy area at the back with a chesterfield and bar stools throughout at the front of the bar. There's even a 'Press for Beer' button in the booths which gets the 5 year old inside of me all excited. LET ME PRESS IT PLEASE MUM! The staff are super friendly in this one and are willing to talk you through all the beers on offer and give suggestions even when they know you've tried most of the BrewDog menu anyway. They always pull one out of the bag that you've not heard of or tried. This location being a few minutes walk from my flat coupled with my love for BrewDog makes this a very dangerous option for me and my liver/bank account. I love you BrewDog. I.D.S.T

There are small booths around the bar that are perfect for intimate groups. At the bar, the staff were super helpful in advising which, of their huge selection of beers, to try. After tasting several samples I settled on the Framboise which was super light and fruity - perfect for a warm summer day!!!! I will definitely be back to try more.
