The staff were very helpful, i dealt with a man called Paul (Who is the new owner) and helped guide me to what I wanted. Bolton Bathrooms have installers that subcontract for them, this worried me at first but the working relationship between the showroom staff is exactly what you want when having project like this undertaken in your home. There were one or two small issues that made themselves apparent mid job but within the hour of reporting it BB and the installer had come to a solution, solved it and informed me (at no extra cost!). I can't recommend Bolton Bathrooms enough - Everyone was transparent from the get go and they took everything off of my hands from the initial meeting when i had arranged for one of them to come out and measure.

However, we were disappointed and eventually took our custom elsewhere. The problems were two-fold. Firstly, whilst there was a lot of stuff on show, none of it particularly inspired us: it seemed to have been put together in the shop in a rather haphazard way, and not 'installed' particularly well at all. Secondly, the customer service wasn't anything to write home about. The staff did not seem especially attentive and whilst they took our details and threw together a bathroom design (which they then posted out to us), we weren't very impressed: the design seemed drab and mass-produced rather than something individualised and inspiring. However, the design was quite well-priced. All in all, the one word that springs to mind is mediocre. Some folk have managed to elevate mediocrity to an art form (think the England cricket team), but I'm afraid I can't even write that of Bolton Bathrooms Ltd Maybe you'll do better if you investigate these people yourself -- but we went elsewhere in the end.

The prices seemed quite reasonable, although I should add that we aren't experts on the going rate for these sorts of items The customer service wasn't bad: someone quickly spotted we needed some advice and offered a few ideas. In the end, though, we buy anything from these people. The main reason for that was that they didn't offer a complete service: we would have had to hunt around for other people to strip out our old bathroom, install everything, plumb it in, paint and decorate it Since both of us have busy jobs and neither of us are DIY experts, we went somewhere else where an all-in-one service was offered. It cost quite a bit more though However, if we had the time and the expertise, we might well use these people for some new bathroom ideas.

The staff were knowledgeable and approachable and gave us advice on how to minimise spending (by taking up the old carpet and disposing it ourselves, save the carpet grips, etc). They also advised us to sign up to their newsletter emails to get a further 10% off. They also offer a free delivery and fitting services if you buy some fancy underlay too. Arranging a fitting was stress-free and we were contacted by phone regarding an update on time on the day. They were professional and quick and left no mess to clean up. We had freshly painted skirting boards and no scratches were left whatsoever. Overall, a great value and professional service that leaves a beautifully fitted carpet!
