When I first arrived there was a super long line just to get fabric cut. I decided to shop for a while until there were only two people in line. They are really good at getting everyone through as quick as possible and had over 6 people just cutting yardage. After you get your fabric cut, you go to a second line to pay, but I only waited about 2 minutes. I guess just timed it right. HINT: they have the full price fabric up by the front door. Skip that and head to the piles of fabric towards the side and back of the store. The only thing I couldn't find there was on brand fabrics like Hello Kitty and the Nightmare Before Christmas. As if their prices weren't low enough, they have a bargain area in the back of the store with even lower prices and other specialty materials like vinyl. Plenty of parking as well.

They had a really nice selection of recycled yarns, which I was very pleased to see along with some cute accessories I haven't seen before. They are offering multiple free social craft times each week and have and fun themed craft nights planned as well: Knitting: Tuesdays 11-1 Crochet: Thursdays 11-1 Mixed fiber arts: Mondays 6-8 Since they're brand new they're still building up some of their inventory, but I look forward to seeing them grow!

I wanted to buy ribbon various color sizes and types. When I walked towards the back of the store to look at the ribbon, I was flabbergasted!!! my eyes open so wide my mouth dropped open. I had just stepped into ribbon heaven. I came away with maybe 20 different ribbons, maybe 5 yards each and $48 bill. Well worth it. I wanted various types to make ribbon book markers. I will post a picture so you could see how beautiful they came out. I will be back with a pocket full of money to buy more ribbon.

The instructor, Kelsey (hopefully I spelled that right!) was able to give everyone personal attention, which was a must since you advance between projects at more-or-less your own pace; a blessing for me, since I was usually lagging behind a bit. We go through everything you need to know about the machine, threading it, bobbins, patterns, how to read a pattern, how to choose the right fabric, how to trim and use patterns. Everything you can think of. She is incredibly knowledgeable and personable. It is always a joy to go to class! So far we've made, a pouch, pillow case, pajama shorts. We have a last project that is TBD! But you truly get to work at your own pace. Everything is provided for you. Highly recommend anyone who is interested in sewing to take a class!
