Really inexpensive gas. Horrible counter people. Used the bathroom once, probably got an STD on my shoes.

(TL;DR - It used to be amazing, but their disregard to ingredient freshness and short inventory…read morethat does not match with their diverse menu made them drop in quality) About ten months ago, I wrote a review about how amazing this deli was. Despite it's small size and humble exterior, the food they served was fresher than their chain counterpart, Subway. They also had more variety in their sandwich options and their drinks, and they had a rewards system that was very fair. Unfortunately, that is not the case anymore. Their drink options are still diverse and they still offer the standard convenience store products, such as cigarettes or gum. But their main value of selling quality sandwiches unfortunately is not there. Their rewards system of getting a free sandwich after purchasing nine dissipated about a month after the store opened, and the quality of food went downhill since then. For one, even though their menu still has the same amount of options as they first opened, most of them seem to be out of stock all the time. Each time I see a sandwich I would like to have, I would find out that they didn't have that kind of meat available. I would have to go through four or five different options to find one that they had, which is usually something really basic like plain turkey. The quality of food also degraded. While I applauded them for their freshly cut vegetables and well-preserved topping, just one look shows that a lot of their food has been left out for at least a few days. Their bacon is dry, their deli meats have a funky after taste, and their eggs are clearly processed (I wanted to get an egg and cheese once with a sunny side egg only to find that they don't use fresh eggs. Instead, they use these dry omlette half disks that just look unappealing). As for the freshly cut vegetables, it's obvious that they have gone stale from their lack of crunch. Their picks are still juicy from my lack experience though. I know this place can get it's act together, since it was once one of the best delis during its debut. I would recommend that they focus back to what made them unique, which was fresh ingredients and high variety. At the very least, if they choose not to get more of the ingredients on their menu, they should shorten it so that their inventory becomes more manageable. But no matter what, they should find a way to get back to fresh ingredients that really make a difference.

Not hard to find and a block from the 7 train and bus stops so it's really convenient. More of a store for last minute items like on the go water or snacks and you forgot to bring any

I have a love/hate relationship with this place. Pros: open 24/7 and good variety of products…read more Cons: always out of stock of whatever it is I need, inconvenient layout of the cashier area and attitude of some cashiers. What bothers me the most is that they are ALWAYS out of something I needed or went there for in the first place. Prime example was yesterday's shopping experience. I needed regular aspirin and couldn't find any. This wasn't a fluke where they happened to be out of it that day. On another day i wasted time looking for it because even though I was in the right section there wasn't any. Sure they had tylenol, advil, etc. And every other iteration of aspirin except for plain ole generic or bayer. The other thing I needed to get was an apple gift card. I usually buy it here and it's the one thing I "thought" i could count on to be in stock but Lo and behold the whole section for Apple gift cards was completely empty. Overflowing with other ones though. Never had I felt so defeated and disappointed in a store. I ended up buying Pepsi (cause they were out of coke) and whatever food was in stock to get something out of my trip. Fortunately I had a nice cashier who was willing to bag my groceries with my reusable bag. There are other cashiers who refuse to do it. I don't have a problem bagging my own but the problem is there's no room on the counter and a plastic window in the way. You're totally screwed if you're buying a lot of stuff. It's a circus with the cashier handing me my stuff around this divider for me to bag while I'm also busy unpacking and handing them stuff to be rung up all while trying to keep track of whats ready to be bagged or not. So much easier on everyone if they just bag it as it's rung up especially with such tiny counter space. That's what they used to do until they boycotted plastic bags (which is mostly a good thing) but now it's more work for me and non-existent customer service. I'm a glutton for punishment cause I continue to shop there. Ugh what's wrong with me?!?

I've been to other 7- eleven, where the cashier just rushes you to pay and get out. I always prefer 7- eleven coffee due to self made and the price is not expensive either. Honestly, the experience of making your coffee however you like it with all the options of brew and creamers in front of you is amazing. Granted, you could also make your own coffee at home but if you're like me and like it ice cold on a crunch for time then this is it. Got myself a fat cup of joe for only $2 (which is the medium because you'll never catch me walking around with a Yeti - sized cup of coffee). Pro-tip: the Brazilian blend is bussin. Try it. The guy at the counter is nice although he doesn't speak English very well. I give him credit for trying to make conversation with me. TikTok makes 7-Eleven's in Asia look like a dream but that doesn't mean the American ones are a nightmare. I just personally avoided the hot dogs, taquitos, and pizza only because I don't trust food in the open like that (however, I am a hypocrite when it comes to Cantonese bbq meats). I'll go for a paleta next time since they sell those here and they come individually wrapped. I would give this 5 stars except as some have mentioned, this place really wasn't the cleanest plus I haven't tried their food so 4 is fair.
