Trust me ..Never ever do business with this company! They are bone idle..My husband had ALS SERVICE CONNECTED..Today makes me feel like writing this..the VA gave him $90,000 to adjust the house..everything was approved ..all he did was a generator and that he was clueless about ..because of his profound laziness when my husband passed I could not get the rest of the work done ..this was 2020 I am just starting to work on the house as it was a fixer upper ..I will never forgive Ron Bold for all of the stress he put me under and I was hospitalized 9 times with stress etc DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY .!!! read more

We built with Bold 4 years ago and we're impressed. Loved every moment from the sales pitch to the day we got the keys to the 6 month review. But we built again with them recently and they are a very different company. They went from an awesome small family company to having too many builds on the go for the owner to handle. The owner is great and is trying to fix all of our problems but our list is huge and isn't decreasing much at all. Very disappointed this time around. But I suppose you get what you pay for. They are one of the cheaper on the markets. My thoughts - if your decision is between Bold and Plantation or metricon, I would pick bold because they are at least up front about costs. read more

Bold Properties are the worst of the worst. Their care factor is 0, quality of workmanship shoddy at best, experts at palming off issues from one person to the other. They hire sub standard contractors and do not have any quality checks - from electrical work in the house, to landscaping, to the absolute worst paint job - with paint marks left on tiles, stove, shelves - u name it. The warranty period means nothing as they operate like a mafia, and will try their best to stretch simple issues into months, and before you know it your warranty period has expired. From so called Directors in the office to the Site Supervisors you can be assured no one will step forward to help you if you run into any issues; trying to get them to pay attention to your issues is like flogging a dead horse. A shoddy sub standard builder with stellar indifference to customer service!!! read more

We recently built our first home through Bold. We had no choice in builder. Good customer service from the initial sales team - accommodated all our changes/requests but did not offer suggestions for improvement (would let us pay 12K for adding ducted AC but not offer the 10K special which also gave us high ceiling, roof tile upgrade etc). Good quality build but lots of issues pending at handover which took months to rectify - dishwasher not delivered or installed, fans not functioning properly, cupboard door broken, privacy locks not installed. Landscaping of poor quality - land not even leveled. Some staff members were rude and difficult to contact. Overall, would not build with them again just for the lack of customer service read more
